Cottage was nice clean and spacious. We looked out on the lake. There were activities for the children every day. Also a big plus is the swimming pool. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Had a nice sunny week vacation. Cottage was neat, simple and looked nice over the lake. Book a larger house than for actual number of people. Environment and park is pretty much to do. Only the system with the Val jolypas is difficult because you can not do anything with it and can not make up the rest of the amount for food and drinks. Reception is helpful and now English is understood and spoken a little. Cleaning good to do yourself if you take stuff for it. No problems with the inspection. Cleaning package is not present. Minus points in the cottages are the blankets instead of duvets. In short, excellent park for a week of vacation with many sports facilities and beautiful clean pool.

Location is superb, beautiful nature, a view of a reservoir, close to the Belgian border and a nice travel distance. The house was very simple with some points of attention that we passed on. House was super clean, no dust to be found anywhere. Staff we have spoken to is very helpful and thoughtful. Unfortunately only French TV and then also for a decent payment, do not expect too much from the WI-FI.

Upon arrival, immediately received the key. All information was also given in Dutch (the reception clerk Nico spoke Dutch). According to us, accommodation for 7 people is only suitable for 4 people. Small rooms, small living space ... The interior of the house is basic (and perhaps in need of freshening up). No down blankets - still work with the principle of sheets and regular blankets. We had a house with a view of the lake. Spacious terrace with beautiful view of the lake. Very relaxing and pleasant on the terrace. Beautiful park on the lake with a lot of recreational opportunities. Only downside: you have to buy a Valjoly card on which you have to charge units in order to participate in activities. Residual units are not reimbursed. Staff of Huis Valojoly could also give little information about walks and cycling routes. We had to figure it out for ourselves ... Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the recreation on the lake. Park staff were friendly and always willing to help. Restaurants - too much "fast food" for us. We went to eat outside the park - but had to drive to Belgium to find a good restaurant.

On arrival it was busy at check-in, it turned out that our house had not yet been cleaned and we had to wait for it. The environment is, as you can expect from France, very beautiful!

Beautiful surroundings for avid hikers and cyclists. We were there with 2 children who don't like to walk far, so you quickly get bored with the area unless you take your car for everything. We found that less appealing. The "shop" on the property also left much to be desired. There was something very basic to find, but we still made 2 trips to a real supermarket nearby.

Surroundings okay if you at least have a view of the lake reception ok but not Dutch (it may be expected that a receptionist can speak (although it is flawed) in Dutch (just across the border anyway) Defects noted eg lamp piece, seats in place and not too practical to sleep, a few broken heads, but no reaction / for 7 people idd quite small / not too much housekeeping / just a blanket and A bedspread (no down blanket) / terrace ok but no sun umbrella / according to the kids the floor in the pool was not too big a big deal, we also found that you had to walk up and down with your luggage, no parking at the cottage itself (Even if you only had to unload your luggage) had a nice holiday week

Very bad beds and cleaning is also an area for improvement. Actually what is really beautiful is the view which remains breathtaking. But if we were already thinking about leaving after 2 days, that's not a good sign. Anyway, we are completing our week and looking forward to our next trip planned.

There are quite a few points that could definitely be improved. The house was not clean and many things were broken (doors, floor, plates). Upon arrival, it turned out that the lake was not accessible due to a bacteria in the water. We were not informed about this. As a result, we could not swim or canoe. The outdoor pool was also closed. It's a pity that, for example, the trampoline and bouncy castle were paid attractions. Quite expensive as well.

The booking process at Belvilla went very well. By telephone we are customer friendly and helpful so we booked immediately. However, on arrival the reception was closed. Between 12.00 and 15.30 they are closed! In the end we checked in and found that the cottage was not cleaned, there was a big mold on the ceiling above the bed that could come down any time, the kitchen was fat, the refrigerator fired, leaving no bottles in place, The refrigerator was broken, burned holes in the sofa and mold was under the heating. We have reported this to the front desk who would send someone by mail orally and in writing, however, this person has never been. The ladies at the front desk say they can not do anything about it here. They are not friendly and not willing to help..of we have gotten what we expected to have booked.

With family of 5 persons in 5/7 pers cottage stayed. The park is nicely laid out, the climbing is fantastic and our daughter surfed with pleasure. Also included is a nice pool at. You need (except swimming pool) or anywhere lot to pay by puntenpas that you can not get back. In the area we have not found a quaint villages. Well well worth the zoo in Brugelette (60 km) which will not be promoted even in the park (as in Belgium), like the caves of Neptune (also in Belgium). The house was very scanty, beds mercilessly hard and it smelled like smoke and wet dog. The air we did not get there in spite of airing the house. Cleaning costs are € 98, so we have done, but there is just an old-haired mop and a bucket, not a vacuum cleaner or eraser. We were lucky with the location our house, overlooking the lake, but there are also those who are in the dark trees, even further away from the facilities. There is so much height with almost no trails for strollers or bicycles. It was an offer and emergency break for us, but would definitely not pay full price!

Welcoming reception, beautifully landscaped park with stunning views of the lake, plenty of privacy and plenty of amenities. Entertainment enough, if you want to use, but also an alluring culture and natural surroundings. Relaxing holiday.

The house was clean, tidy and spacious enough. Magnificent views of the lake and a tranquil environment. The park is very suitable for families with (young) children. The staff was mostly friendly and most spoke good English (my French was unfortunately not enough!) I would definitely recommend the park for people with children and those seeking relaxation and effort to combine in one holiday.

Beautiful villas and beautiful park with lots to do. Outside the park, however, is within a radius of 100 to 150 km almost nothing to do.

Highly recommended. Netherlands from fine to travel. Super nice place with a great view from the balcony on the lake. At the park you can include: archery, pedal boats, miniature golf, etc ... and of course swimming in a great pool. Also in the area you can make within a 20 km radius around the lovely trips. (Maubege zoo, castle visit, etc ....)

A week staying here was more than enough. The cottages are small but comfortable. I would ask overlooking the lake. The domain or something going on, but that's fun for smaller children. The region did not do much, very beautiful walks and bike rides made!

This summer we went to valjoly. The location was fantastic. The view of the lake and wooded area is overwhelming. The park looks very tidy, just like the cottages. It's also nice that you can choose where you do and do not do it (and thus is not standard in the price of homes passed). The villages in the area are worth discovering, such as Solre le Chateau.
