The house is accessible via a narrow mountain road, but the location is beautiful. A beautiful view from the house and pool. Sufficient facilities available, although it is a bit dated. The friendly owner is very helpful. There is plenty to see in the region. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday in Conca D'Oro.

The area was beautiful! Upon arrival Andrea (son of the owner) was already waiting for us. He gave us a tour through the house and also gave us useful tips! The house is somewhat dated in terms of furniture but we had no problem with it, it is also a very old house and that gives it atmosphere! It is not luxury but everything is there. The air conditioning eats electricity so do not use it too much. It suffocated from the mosquitoes but if you continue to inject well, things are fine. The pool is small and the path to it needs some attention, do not expect too much! Take into account the fact that you are 20 minutes to get on and off the mountain to Montecatini Terme, quite a tough road especially the last stretch!

Hospitally hosted with burning fire by the extremely helpful Andrea (administrator). Heating required in late April / early May. Old house, literally at the end of a dead end, stunning views. Spacious bedrooms but living room on the tight side for 7 persons. Sanitary facilities moderate.

A whole tour to find the house, very warm and humid in the house, the inadequate working air conditioning pulls your purse empty because power has to be paid afterwards, the pool is a bit below the house and is actually more suitable for children. everything in the house is dated and old. Positive point, the location of the house, regarding the view but you have 20 minutes through narrow mountain roads before you end up in a town.

The description of the house is misleading. Everything is outdated, from the furnishings to the electrical system. One of the three rooms is uninhabitable because it is too hot to sleep there as it is directly under the uninsulated roof. Rats run across the terrace. The electrical system is so old that a short circuit could occur. The air conditioning, which was one of the main criteria for our booking, is a joke. It is ancient and only cools the two bedrooms within a radius of 30 cm at the door frame. We bought our own cooling devices just to be able to sleep. Aside from finding cut nails in a drawer, it is at least relatively clean, and the landlord brought us an additional fan and installed fly screens in the two usable bedrooms. The view of the landscape is great. Otherwise, everything around the property looks very unkempt, and you don't feel welcome. The whole thing is not worth 1700 euros!

Ideal for family with older kinderen.Minder suitable for disabled visitors and smaller kinderen.Auto can not be parked right next to house, swimming pool is 10m below the house. Villa is ideal for (day) visit to Florence, Pisa and Lucca.Inrichting / finish house is slightly better but everything you need is aanwezig.Goede hard mattresses on the bed. Many place in the three slaapkamers.Van Montecatini it is a mountain road upwards +/- 8 km and last stretch of road is a narrow road +/- 3km. First time it fell away a bit disappointing but at the end of the holiday you ride (almost) blind up / down.

With more comfortable furniture in the living room, better patio chairs and more cups / glasses / silverware, the interior had an 8. Good beds and excellent price / performance ratio. Wonderful holiday in this cottage. The layout is quite basic, but clean, and all equipment that one could wish for is there except a coffee (or espresso). Montecatini train station is 10 km away (winding, but very nice) and has very regular train connections to Florence, Lucca and Pisa. The owners of the house live nearby and are very helpful and nice. We were treated to pizza (freshly baked) and upon arrival there was a bottle of wine on the table and burned the fireplace. The latter was necessary because of the weather we decided not found much rain and "evening /" cold at night. But the owner brought timber every night before the fire. In our view, the cottage is not suitable for children between about 5 and 15 years, because there are going to be bored their only entertainment would be the TV. The cottage has free wifi with a reasonably fast connection.

We were two weeks of 8 people in the house, which can be reached from Florence about serpentine and later on small mountain roads. It is beautifully situated, you have a view on the plain to the south. Covered terrace, small but adequate pool, very nice hosts. Two bathrooms / toilets are available in the kitchen have 8 people at one large table space. The house is old, but well renovated. The decor is simple but in good condition. The hosts live in a house next door, are always available to give tips and answer questions. We had a very nice stay.

Conca d 'Oro is on the one hand at the end of the world (the narrow mountain road 13 km long then only 50 m away from the valley in Montecatini endigt literally underneath the house). Anderzijs is the middle of the most beautiful cities of Italy shortly afstand.En you are surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Apennines (Montecatini view from the terrace is very very nice). The house is on the edge of a very small gehuct of some houses (Vico) with very sympathetic inmates warm and they good respect your privacy. The owner has an old stone oven fired with local wood, and bakes pizza one day a week "s. Very gracious people. The son speaks good English. The house is spacious (4 bedrooms) and very authentic Italian. Rustic decor, but free wifi, DVD and satellite TV. Spacious terrace with stunning views. Conca d 'Oro is an ideal holiday home which we believe is suitable for up to 6 people. The living room is too small for more. The town of Marliana is located in a very strategic position because it allows you to easily reach many places during your vacation.
First of all Pistoia, at not even 20km distance, which was declared the city of culture in 2016. Here there are many sites to visit and for the little ones there is also a fun zoo.
Montecatini Terme is only 10 km away, here you will find many spa facilities to spend a day of total relaxation and well-being.
For sports enthusiasts the ski resort of Abetone is only about 45 km far. But around the house you are already in a mountain area, you will find many paths surrounded by nature to do on foot or by bicycle.
Finally, a bit more distant, are Florence and Lucca that really deserve to be seen.
