Our family had a wonderful time here. Beautiful, characteristic cottage with already large swimming pool in a gorgeous area with lots of villages and places to visit. The owners were very kind and always ready to help or give advice. We highly recommend this as a place to spend a lovely holiday in Tuscany.

A few days before arrival we received a message from Fausto and Flavia; it was best to drive our car to Castiglion Fiorentino station and then we would be brought from there to the house. What good service!

We had a fantastic holiday, the cottage exceeded our expectations. The other amenities were great too, friendly hosts, beautiful pool, although there were sometimes insects in it due to the time of year, but this quickly disappeared after turning on the pump. A tip for everyone going is to bring something for mosquito bites and/or to prevent them. This had nothing to do with the accommodation but rather the time of year in Castiglion. We will definitely go again, so it's highly recommended.

Everything worked out wonderfully. Written communication was always very good. Telephone inquiries, on the other hand, are apparently not welcome, as the "advisors" were not really able or willing to help. We could only request a 2-day extension by email, but this was processed very quickly and promptly.

This is a very nice house. It was stylishly renovated several years ago. We enjoyed staying there too, thanks to the very friendly owners. The surroundings are like a beautiful painting. The Florence, Sienna, Peruga, Assisi and Don "t forget Gubbio are easy to visit.

The house was luxurious and very complete. Beautiful detached house with sufficient privacy. The view of the city is very beautiful, especially at sunset. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Good base for Arezzo, Sienna, Perugia, Trasimeno. You can even take the train to Florence.

A very nice decorated house with a beautiful view. Arrezzo and Cortona are beautiful cities and not far from Castiglione Fiorentino. There are several supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The garden with swimming pool is excellent and relaxing after a day visiting the surroundings. A quiet place to stay overThe family is always willing to answer your questions and to give you suggestions for visiting the surrounding.

The house itself is worth 4 stars and very satisfied with it. Good location relative to Cortona and Arezzo. But the garden deserves better, more attention to, for example, entrance, plants, mowing grass, path to the swimming pool, more comfortable outdoor seating. With more attention for this, the garden is also worth 4 stars.

We received a very warm welcome from the owners who live next door to the villa on the same plot at the end of a quiet country lane on an elevated position with a view of Tuscany fields to Castiglione Fiorentino.The villa is an old converted tobacco storage building very tastefully decorated with one main kitchen / living room and two bedrooms. A great place to get a feel for old Italy ... but with very good bathroom / shower facilities thrown in! The weather was not good, so we did not get a chance to enjoy the benefits of the large pool-which is situated on the property, nor the barbecue area which enjoys splendid views towards the ancient fortified hilltop town of Castiglione Fiorentino. However, the owners were always ready to providence advice on specific sights to see and small towns to visit in the area and firing care of all our requests for assistance. If you "re looking for a small, unpretentious but well appointed villa ideally suited to explore Southern Tuscany then Casa Poggiolo is a very good option ..!

The owners are super friendly. Mrs. went with us to a local winery and olive farmer to translate. The man of the house was always there for us to help.The cottage is quiet but well situated to draw somewhere. Stay and very friendly welcome. The house is very clean and neat. The master suite on the "Room and bathroom are large with lots of storage. L" space downstairs bedroom has allowed our two boys ages 3 and 4 to play quietly. They also benefited from the garden during nice days. The house is tastefully furnished and is close to many cities and tourist villages. The owners are very pleasant and helpful while being discreet. They were our very good advice for tours / restaurants and festivities which allowed us to enjoy this beautiful area.
