We enjoyed our stay very much. A wonderfully quiet area with many beautiful hiking opportunities in nature and in the surrounding villages. The apartment had everything we needed and the owners were very cordial. The only drawback is (possible) noise pollution when the upper floor is also rented out. Everything else fine.

This apartment is such a vibe! Super cozy and totally cute for a couple's getaway, The forest is just a hop away, like 100m or something, Perfect for those aesthetic nature pics, Plus, BBQ grill on-site? Major cooking goals, No cap, would def recommend for a chill weekend

A nice and cozy apartment on a beautiful estate in the Belgian Ardennes. The apartment has exactly what you need, nothing more and nothing less. The spaces are not large, but well furnished. The bed is only slightly narrower than stated in the advertisement (140 instead of 180 cm). The area is very quiet, only from the upstairs neighbors you can occasionally hear some noise. Very nice sitting area in the garden, with a number of umbrellas and barbecues available for common use. But the big plus of this accommodation is the estate around it and the location in the region. From the house you walk either over the path or through the lower forest to the river Ourthe, a beautiful evening walk. The town of Durbuy is also within walking distance. And by car it is also highly recommended to drive a little further (15/20 min) to Bomal or Hotton, or a little further towards Rochefort or La-Roche-en-Ardenne (40 min). The owners (who live on-site for part of the year) also enjoy telling us about the estate or providing tips on trips around the area.

A lovely stay. The 2-person studio is warm and cozy. Complete amenities. Missed the TV for a moment. Super warm reception. There is nature with forest, pasture with animals, flowing river with even beavers while walking distance Durbuy with many trinkets and craft shops and castle also offers some culture. Also great for kayaking. In short, plenty to do for many tastes. Highly recommended.

Despite the bad weather I have enjoyed the holiday with a baby (3 months). "In the afternoon enjoy a break in the surrounding towns. There is plenty to do. And further between feedings sit outside. There was a descontracturant and cozy atmosphere.

We were with our 2 dogs a midweek break to the Ardennes. For the first time, beautiful surroundings, Durbuy is a nice town, but unfortunately we had a lot of rain. The apartment was clean, we were just unlucky that we had no hot water but we could use the cottage next door, well resolved. And in the days after the problem was resolved and we were able to later in our own bath. We had the luxury that we were alone so did not disturb others and none of us. The cottage had everything it needed, only a kettle would not be a luxury. There is indeed a radio-CD player, we did not know what else we CD 's taken it. Even the dogs did well to their sense. Overall, highly recommended and worth repeating!

Nice apartment in a very quiet area. Do not expect luxury. You do not have far to enjoy nature and other attractions. It is advisable to have good walking shoes nemen.Doordat several apartments in the building are housed it is noisy and while sitting outside there is little privacy.

In early August 2009 we have a week with our 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs at the Domaine gone. We wanted our dogs and that can almost nowhere. We arrived in a lovely setting with a lovely house and most excellent weather. The river Ourthe around the corner. We have to have four of a wonderful week. Enjoy peace, nature and freedom. All facilities at less than 3 km. Definitely worth repeating.

Is somewhat secluded. We were the only ones staying in the cottages. If multiple waren sojourners were you are together on the lip.Je have there no privacy if you want to sit outside.

I am a mid-week in this cottage was number 4. Along with my mother We enjoyed it very much. The cottage is indeed in a quiet rural setting. The site is maintained by the administrator and the driveway sometimes something almost magical. We have a lot to walk in the immediate area. We also have kayak dangers and gemountainbiked from Barvaux. In short, it had a few nice days and who knows we come back again!

A booked at the last minute holiday at the Domaine de l 'ecureuilis for me and my girlfriend and our dog "Tim", despite the somewhat disappointing weather, resulted in a very relaxing stay there! A beautiful area, "a nice cozy cottage and a very likeable manager, made it for us a very successful week and it is definitely worth considering, in order to come here again! back!

Domaine de l 'Ecureuil: a beautiful house located in a quiet, hilly area on the lowing of the cows after (though it is cozy country), it is pretty quiet, we had a nice walk, kayak hazards on the river Ourthe and.. visited the caves of Han We enjoyed the beautiful weather, there is a large grassy area nearby where you can sunbathe delicious And of course we visited a few times Durbuy. smallest town in the world Very cozy and picturesque.. , with many restaurants and tourist shops also with our neighbors was cozy and of course that is as fine as a week (or more) sitting next to each other, we have reached the house by public transport:.. from the nearest railway station "Barvaux "we took our bikes to Domaine de l 'Ecureuil cycled. That was a difficult journey with all the luggage, but if you 'evening're sitting on your patio, you sure what you've done!

We walked a lot, ie, my friend / man.Dit was the third time we were in this complex, and this time it was even our honeymoon! Glad we can take the dog (you), which can be really her egg lost to run and jump and play in the water. My new-fangled husband anyway ook.Ikzelf I prefer a lazy ... Good anywhere in the supermarket shopping and price-comparison (you're not for nothing dutch ..). Bit walk occasionally, with my husband and dog nice and far, and recognition is nice, "do you remember where we were last year?" It's so beautiful, and what would you torment yourself and extra longer drive, as beautiful as France or Italië.Volgend years or something like that again ( or similar) Day, Hetty and Barry and Bami.

Hello best upcoming holiday (s), we have been in the autumn of southern Netherlands to DUBUY and stay in Domaine de l 'Ecureuil studio 4. Studios four is attractively furnished and is located at the right bottom so we had a piece of additional land.'s caretaker has hired someone to settle the affairs, and she did that really true very nice, she is sweet and is available 24/7 ready (day and night). Our experiences are therefore 100% and are confident to go. same house again Finally, it is very dog u200bu200bfriendly, we have two, they are both joined us and had the time of their lives, it is pet friendly, they can run around and play dogs were in Durbuy very welcome. These are our experiences and hope you feel the same way of going may genieten.Groetjes, William and Mieke (Happy Noah and the dogs)
