Once we drove up the hill and arrived at the house we were stunned by the beautiful landscape. Very good reception and a super friendly hostess, everything was there and there! Guess this for other people is a great location to enjoy the peace. Also place for 2 cars is more as present. Price quality 11/10! Here I would definitely come back.Mvg Cody

The owner speaks Dutch well and had prepared some regional products for us. The cottage is clean and tidy and above all complete. Parking can be made opposite in the bend, at the sign private. The road is 1 car wide. The parking is at 20 m from the front door.

Very good reception by Pascalle, the leffe + cheese and fruit juice were klaar.Alles was present for a pleasant stay. If there was a problem, a phone call and Pascalle came to check. Sea friendly welcome. Really TOP! Beautiful nature to make walks. The cottage is equipped with everything. You just have to bring your clothes. There is nothing lacking in kitchen convenience. Even all kinds of herbs are present. Garbage and waste is also well provided. You just have to sort. We will already go back there a weekend was too short.

We stayed a couple of days with our 3 teenagers in this holiday home. What a nice day we have had. The welcome was very friendly, the house was very tidy and clean and even a welcome drink and snack for us and the kids were ready. During the day very active (canoeing, climbing, hiking in a beautiful area) to enjoy a bite and drink in the house and after eating some company games with the fireplace. This was definitely for us to repeat.

The access road is a bit narrow but best to do. The house is exactly in a bend along the road up there is a beautiful view from the terrace. The area is breathtaking with many hiking opportunities

The owner spontaneously contacted herself a few days before our arrival to ask when we planned to arrive. She lives in the same street, and partly because of this we were able to arrange the hour of arrival very smoothly with her (if we would have liked, we could only have arrived after 6 pm). We were pleasantly and correctly received, in very good Dutch, that the language remained even after we offered to switch to French. Everything was fine, was quickly and efficiently shown and explained, and as welcome gifts there were beer, cheese, fruit juice and sweets. The stove with wood pellets is very cozy and warms very well and quickly the whole house.The house (you) is very well maintained, is sufficiently quiet, offers beautiful views over the valley of the Amblève (and the roof of a neighboring house)), and is well and comfortably ingericht.Twee minuses are the lack of a bathtub and the fact that there is indeed a spacious terrace, but in its entirety still only a small garden bijhoort, which in addition, because the house in the bend of a, albeit quiet , small, road is no privacy offers. We were there in early February, while it was pretty cold, and we have not used the garden, but in the summer it is different.In the area you can walk, for example along the Amblève and the Ninglinspo, but also the stretched quiet Ardennes forests are nearby. Very nice stay in this house. The arrival was well arranged, because we were in the traffic jam we were later than planned. No problem for the owner. Warm welcome, good explanation for the use of the pellet stove (main heating). The cottage is fully equipped, neat and well cleaned. Also equipped with blackout curtains that is certainly nice with children. Beautiful view, it is fairly remote from the villages and has a fairly steep and narrow access road, but this does not cause problems. Because the pellet stove is the main heating, this is less pleasant if you have to burn during the day with very small children, because they can burn themselves to this. We had good weather, so this is not an issue. Walked with the children at the Ninglinspo (highly recommended). We were there early and then it is still very quiet. Also visited the caves of Remouchamps, also nice. Again we were there early so it is still fairly quiet. There is plenty to do in the region with a family, especially for walking. The walks were well marked. But also wildlife parks, playgrounds etc are easily accessible by car. Very nice holiday!

We arrived at the end of the afternoon and immediately there were the homeowners who welcomed us. She gave us a tour of the beautiful house, we got a bottle of leffe with a cheese and the kids orange juice. We received a few tips from her on the trail along the Ninlingspo and Fonds de Quarreux. The 6 km long walk along the Ninlingspo (No. 21) was beautiful, but very touristy. We were sorry that it was so busy on the route especially many families with young children. But despite the hustle and bustle, we have enjoyed this great walk! On the hottest day of the week we walked the 18A route and 18B (total approx. 15 km) and afterwards we searched for / in the water of the Amblève (Fund de Quarreux). Really enjoy blowing! What we personally found a little less in the house were the couch and the beds (especially the pillows). And unfortunately there were also a lot of ants on the kitchen floor during our stay, but that was not to be fun. We have a great time! We also hired mountainbikes for a day (recommended!) At Domaine de Palogne, where we cycled along the river Ourthe to the smallest town in the world, Durbuy. We also visited the caves of Hotton (Remouchamps we had seen 2x) and we went to the safari park Le Monde Sauvage. All in all a very successful week with happy very good weather! We'll be stuck back and hope to go kayaking.
