We had a fantastic holiday. Fatima was very welcoming - and thank you for the wine - it was our first taste of the vinha verde from the region. The accommodation was perfect. The gardens were lovely - very very pretty with great views from the property. We loved being able to pick and eat the fresh produce grown in the garden - tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, courgettes. The area is very pretty - lots of hills and river valleys and lots of things to do within an easy drive of the property. A lovely place to relax. Thank you Fatima.

On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Fatima. A very sweet woman who cares with all her heart of the beautiful jewel in the north of Portugal! The house and the garden really have everything that calls for a holiday - no swimming pool but that is no point at all! In the house is really everything that you need. And the garden ... heaven ... The tomatoes, zucchini, aubergines, peppers, herbs, ... everything at hand! And do not even feel like cooking then look at the menu list Fatima conjures up very tasty menus from her basket! Without a doubt our best holiday so far. We can only tell you what all the comments told us. Beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings, fully equipped with everything you need. Large and beautiful garden with fresh vegetables for picking out. Every morning, fresh bread is served at a (very) soft price as the baker walks. This is sufficient enough to go here and have a top holiday, but the biggest plume is actually for Fatima and her family. With her nice mix of French and Portuguese with a word English this time, this perfect hostess does everything she can to help you and help her wherever she can. She can also boil amazingly. We also had the pleasure of getting to know her family, all the wonderful people we will never forget. Obrigada!

If you have any previous (mostly very positive) reviews see for this house, do you think this should be covered (we have a lifetime of experience in renting apartments). Nothing could be further from the truth. If we could give the number 11 than we did. This experience (4 weeks) has everything we experienced surpassed in 35 years. So much for the quaintness of the house, the garden (with include lemon and orange trees, herb and vegetable garden, pond), the fire (early spring), the peace, the warmth of the Portuguese population. And certainly not least its outstanding hospitality and alertness of Fatima and Juan. Much heat you do not like possible. Something we may also experience with their four children. Use them as an example for the Portuguese youth, which constitute the future, Portugal has a nice view !!! And if you typically Portuguese want to eat, do not hesitate to make use of Fatima 's cooking (there is a menu in this home with the dishes you bets count). Perhaps reason the kitchen of the house really all cooking is feature. So completely did I do this (am cooking fanatic) never experienced. it was just perfect. Finally, it is still worth noting that there was nothing that we could qualify as less good. just the contrary. Outside we have described, we were still surprised with fresh eggs, mandarin oranges, potatoes and onions. the way was provided towels, bedding and wood for the fireplace was unprecedented. A holiday here will enrich your life!

We were welcomed very friendly. It is a very cozy and just pass cottage. Fully equipped. Really cared. The lady who gave the key can also cook a meal. Very tasty. The cottage is a great place to enjoy and visit the area. We have enjoyed 14 days terribly. Highly recommended.

arrival Very good explanation and tour. very kindly received from the verhuurders.accommodation everything and even more what we expect ideal for 2 persons cozy fireplace. seat to chill out and beautiful garden and roof terrace to enjoy the beautiful surroundings outside. environment ideal in the cottage to relax and a city near with culture and nature and plenty of beautiful nature everywhere in the area. also many cities known and less known for us a 10 on 10.PS price quality. Quality time certainly in order but to the standards here in Portugal it can be cheaper but I understand.

Fantastic holiday home with really all amenities (and more two coffeemakers, toaster and toaster machine). Perfect location on a slope in a small village. 10 minutes drive from Ponte de Lima, 45 min to Bom Jesus de Monte, and about an hour to Porto! Beautiful garden with lots of fruit (peach, pear, apple, lemon, etc) and large vegetable garden. All fruits and vegetables (tomato, zucchini, beans, cucumber) can be picked and eaten! Some consideration is to occasionally water and fish -). Fatima is a great place to cook a delicious meal for two people, mostly local delicacies. bring a bottle of cold Vinho Verde! In short, top location that did not take place at Belvilla in 2016!

Ask for the right position when using your mobile phone. You can get stuck. Go to Gondufe and then continue. Reception fine, nice people. Fatima is very friendly. We could harvest onions next to spiced snow peas. Fatima cooks well. Order once.

We had a truly relaxing stay at the Countryside Cottage! The private terrace was perfect for morning coffee while soaking in the serene garden views, The cottage was cozy, with a lovely fireplace that added to the warmth during chilly nights, The open kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and we enjoyed a delightful barbecue one evening, It's a short drive to Ponte de Lima, where we explored charming shops and local eateries, If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place!

Nice house, with great garden, great views and very hospitable owners. Good hiking in the nearby area (ecovia) and plenty of nice places and attractions within a radius of 1 hour. Sea, mountains, nature, everything is here. For example, Viano do Castelo, Braga and Porto. And of course Ponte de Lima at 15 minutes, which also good supermarkets and the like are available. If desired, fresh pastries every morning.

fantastic everything and I mean everything was absolutely great, location, king bed, eat from the garden you can take what you want, fruit vegetables, potatoes, onion, garlic, really the only thing you have to buy is meat or fish for the meal, ideal , beautiful view over the valley, can the whole week did not indicate a minus point, above expectations

Gondufe is a fantastic place with a beautiful view obver the valley of the Rio lima.Fatima the host is someone who you really want to make to your liking and it does its very good.This is truly a place to rest and culture together alternating, that balance is so good that you really do not want to go home.
