A Truly Idyllic Retreat at Eau Rouge
Our stay at the 'Eau Rouge' holiday home was simply perfect. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in the peaceful Ardennes countryside with a restaurant nearby. The property itself is beautifully renovated, with a spacious, modern interior that still feels warm and cosy. The large garden and terrace were a highlight, offering a fantastic spot for a morning coffee or a barbecue in the evening. It's the ideal base for exploring the local area, whether you're hiking in the forests or visiting nearby towns like Malmedy and Stavelot. The entire place was spotless and the owners were incredibly welcoming.
The only real downside is that it's just not suitable for the under-18-month-old crowd. The layout features several open staircases and cots and high chairs are available, the property is best enjoyed by those who are a little older and can appreciate the calm atmosphere.
We do look forward to visiting again.

We could immediately enter the house, the door was open. The house was neat, everything was there. The landlord was very friendly. The area was very quiet and it was also an ideal base for walks.

Hearty arrival. Stunning accommodation, plenty of space and atmospheric house. The two dogs were able to enjoy themselves in the large garden. The area is also very beautiful. Magnificent hiking area. Carrefour in Malmedy on 10 minutes rijden.We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend with the family and this is highly recommended.

Top stay, very friendly owner, who showed arrive Friday ourselves if we wanted, arrived there around 11.45. House immaculate. Have once again enjoyed the area and the grandchildren were fond of the tree house. No negative points. The high moors beautiful.

Had a super week! You literally walked into the Ardennes through the back of the garden! A must for people with dogs and who love walking! Our dogs have enjoyed egt! Also the house was super enough room for a large group everything from spotless. Not a bad word to say about it!

The house is well equipped. The lounge and the kitchen are very nicely connected and you can cook and eat together. The location is in a very beautiful natural setting and is quiet. You can take long walks and relax very well. We were there in the winter, so the garden wasn't very usable, but in the summer it must be very nice to have a barbecue and enjoy. The handover was very easy and all utilities were included. Internet worked perfectly after we switched on the router. :-) Unfortunately the heating didn't work in one of the bedrooms. All in all a very nice stay. We'd love to come back.

Just like last year we were very kindly received by the owner. The key was immediately available. The bungalow was well equipped for our entire group with enough space in the dining room and the salon. The view of nature from the bungalow is super The only drawback is that there is no baker or butcher and a relocation to Xoffraix is needed. We are probably going to rent this bungalow for the third time.

The house was fine. the space for a large group is good to do. the kitchen was large and provided everything for cooking. nice as many bedrooms. enough hot water with showering and the environment is very nice. The walks you want to make can be short for people who do not walk so well and there are also wonderful climbing and climbing walks. A super cozy week. The WVO Team.

Beautiful place with a nice home. From the garden you walk directly through a beautiful roundabout (with bridges over the small river stream) into the rear forest. Delicious! The house has all the conveniences for a pleasant stay, from complete kitchen equipment to sauna. The whole is very neat. We had a group of 9 adults and 7 children. The house is upset, the floor of the floor is cracking properly and in some beds you get away pretty much. Not sleeping for everyone. The owner who received us warmly spoke French only, not ideal if you get an explanation of the divestiture in Belgium, but you'll get out of here. The deposit will cover various costs, such as tourist tax and gas / water / light. The balance was refunded within one week. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this accommodation.
