The historic Arlau lock: Enjoy your time out with the incomparable view of the Beltringharder Koog nature reserve. The apartment is embedded in the North Frisian marsh landscape, directly at the Wadden Sea National Park and World Heritage Site. It is located directly on the Beltringharder Koog, which was only diked in 1987 and is now Schleswig-Holstein's largest nature reserve on land. Thousands of geese, ducks and birds meet here, a true natural spectacle! And you can watch it directly from the living room window or from your chic terrace. It is only 5 km to the next bathing area on the green outer dike with a small restaurant. The charming surroundings can be perfectly explored by bike. In front of the door the North Frisian islands and Halligen, which can be explored by Halligfahrt and partly by (guided) mudflat hike. Husum, "the gray city by the sea" Theodor Storms, Schleswig, Flensburg, the Kingdom of Denmark and many other worthwhile destinations can be easily reached.
