We arrived late and it was just a search for the homeowner. However, we were quickly helped and could immediately enter the house (with a bottle of wine!). We had to ask for information about, for example, WiFi later. The cottage was great and the area was beautiful! Very well-kept garden and nice swimming pool. The owners were also super friendly.

We were very kindly received by the owner and received a bottle of self-produced white and red wine on arrival. The cottage was very comfortable. The terrace at the cottage is under the olive trees in the shade. The pool gives a wonderful cooling. The kitchen is something for larger people. It all fits the charm of this house. There is plenty to see and experience in the area. Lucca is a very pleasant city. In addition, other places such as Florence and Pisa are within easy reach.

A week before our departure we were told by Belvilla that the owner, due to the corona problems, did not want to rent out his house. The Bellvilla employee immediately started to find a location for us. We were also allowed to make our own proposal, Belvilla joined our story / request and we eventually got the more expensive location at the (cheaper) price of our originally planned stay, That was very nice to hear, Kudos to Belvilla (and the helpful employee

Tip from the houseowner

We usually give our guests a bottle of biological wine from our own production and we offer a tour of our cellar with our products (we are a biological farm and we produce white wine, red wine, oil, hooney, vinsanto and horticultural products). Furthermore we give our guests a notice (written in their mother tongue) with all the information for visiting the art cities closer to the farmhouse.
