We have rented this house for a midweek winter with 4 adults and 5 kinderen.Alles was well arranged. Also, the obtaining of the key. The house is spacious, clean and fully equipped. Also, the beds and the linens are fine. That third man can shower once c.q. take a bath is quite a luxury. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the beginning of March with two families in this lovely house and enjoyed a weekend of snow. The house is spacious and yet cozy, fully equipped and clean. Beautiful view over the slopes and the woods further on where you can walk fantastic. Ski rental at the end of the street and from there you can immediately get on the slopes, ideal. Winterberg is 5 minutes away by car. Contact with the owner was very good. Clear information by mail before and during our outward journey we received a text message with all info regarding arrival, so we could go directly into the house. The owner is involved and helped us with the sending of things that we had accidentally left in the house. All in all, very nice.

We visited Altastenberg in the summer. We went here with a family of 5 people. The house was very spacious and equipped with a beautiful bathroom. There is a beautiful large garden. The location is very good, close to Winterberg but also close to nature for walking or mountain biking. The owner is very easy to contact and good to consult with.

The holiday home was perfect for our family getaway! Just a short walk to the ski lifts, which made hitting the slopes super easy, The living area was beautifully renovated and spacious enough for all ten of us, We especially loved the garden—enjoying breakfast on the terrace while soaking in the mountain views was a highlight of our trip, Can't wait to return!

The cottage was already heated on arrival, which was very nice. We received the code by SMS, so that we could enter the house ourselves. From the couch in "children's bedroom" we managed to make a 2-person bed, allowing all couples to sleep in a separate room. There was plenty of cooking utensils available and it all worked fine! Fortunately, the 2nd car could still be parked pretty close by and the hallway to use our snowboard gear was ideal. A nice warm house, where we had a nice weekend.

Nice property, where we entertained very well despite the bad weather. Spacious rooms and a separate kitchen with sitting area and spacious living room, so you can search for your rest in a large group. Not noisy, which was very nice with the little kids. Nice spacious garden with stunning views. Sauerland pool is very recommendable, in bad weather. Glad there are two bathrooms. Owner is easily accessible and helpful.

Had a great weekend. Big house, lots of space, good beds, Dutch TV channels, amazing view. Very close to the slopes, just a pity dar there was little snow. Furthermore, a very quiet town, but enough activities in Winterberg.

We have been a long weekend with z 's nine in the house. A lovely house, large, clean and spacious bedrooms. Since there was no snow in Altastenberg, we drove to Winterberg. This was fine to do from home. Service and contact landlord was also good. In short, if we go one more time to Sauerland, we know where we will stay.

We had a lovely week in Altastenberg. 6 adults and 5 children had plenty of room in the house. Slopes we saw out the window. Unfortunately you can not order the weather, we had almost no snow. But even without snow it was beautiful. We have hiked a lot. Very nice trails, playground, everything is close to the house. House owner is very nice and always available. We will come back.

The house is within easy walking distance of the slopes and the ski rental. The house is equipped with all necessary things, cutlery and kitchen utensils were also plentiful. The two bathrooms are also nice in a house for 10 people.

We were here with a group of 6 adults, 1 child and 1 baby. The whole house (living room, dining room, bedroom) was very generous, even with the originally planned eight adults had easy fit. Close to the slopes and ski rental and (the other side) a good restaurant where we ate every night, not only the mandatory German food but also delicious steaks and other delicious dishes. Half of the slopes were open, but for the beginners among us it was fine for one or two days (nice ski lodge in the valley). The third day we went to Winterberg (5 minutes drive to the parking lot at the North Hang) and we still have geskied.Zeer wonderfully friendly reception, even beforehand, the (Dutch) Michael, who had arranged for us on Monday could stay, so we had a place where we could provide, while the rest could skiën.Ik have often been in houses, but have never been as impressed as now for the baby. longer The plumbing is a bit verouders, but alas, our daughter (3 months) has been for the first time in the bath and for that we wanted a bath.
