We were well received and guided by the owners. The house is in a very idyllic setting and is very picturesque. The garden is fun for young and old. You can walk very beautiful in the area. The owners were very friendly throughout our entire stay, and so we are sorry to say that there are a lot of shortcomings to this property. The lemon flavor upon arrival masked an underlying odor problem. The whole lower floor was affected by a scent of age, moisture and fungus that met you when you walked down the stairs. The bathroom smelled down (improved by flowing water into the drains). The kitchen cabinets really smoke old, damp and moldy and were not neat at all. Even the sponges and dishcloths present stink. The kitchen cabinets were not neat, the fabric was thick on the coffee machine, spinning down a lot of corners. There was a serious crack in the microwave door and the fridge did not shut up very well. The kitchen was very tight if you had to have 7 around the table. On arrival it was also very cold in the house. It seemed like no one had lived in the house for a long time. The heater did not work, usually tried to get them talking (with 11 ° outside, it was really cold), unable to reach owners next morning. Then the heater used, with the result that the attic floor became unavailable because the hot chimney had a smell like a painted surface. The rooms were size OK but the mattresses were of the type of youth hostel and were not really nice for adults. Furthermore, there was no form of eclipse for the windows, only light curtains for the usual windows, and nothing for the skylights. Not pleasant, in the middle of summer. We received a reserved friendly welcome. Unfortunately, the kitchen was very old, the dishes and the necessary kitchen utensils partly in a very bad condition. The mattresses were either very saggy or very thin. We enjoyed spending time in the garden, the tree house for the grandchildren was great. In the village itself there were no options for shopping (not even a bakery), to get bread rolls you had to drive to Waldeck, for example.

We booked the hotel because it has 4 bedrooms. The first night we were able to sit in the beautiful garden and a barbecue, but in bad weather, the kitchen offers enough space for 6 or more people.The living room with fireplace is cozy, the beds were okay and with a small and a large bathroom (each has a shower) we were more than zufrieden.Unsere owner who greeted us warmly and verabschiedet.Wir have felt ourselves on the Hofreite very well and had a nice and fun weekend in networks.

The welcome was friendly and Mrs. Nickel stood us in word and deed. The house is in a wonderful location inside an old farmstead \/ homestead. Along the garden runs a brook. Truly an idyllic spot where you can completely unwind in this rural setting. The enclosed and secluded garden gives you the privacy you desire. The house is fully equipped. The rooms are spread over three floors. The living room is a bit on the small side, especially by the big furniture. The two wood stoves on both the ground floor and upper floor are all top! The house is an old half-timbered house so with beautiful beams. The house stands just behind the historic church of Mains. A stone staircase on the farm you come to this church, which is certainly worth a visit. Ring the bell at the house opposite, the church is open for a visit and get a tour. Here you will find include a triptych from the Middle Ages and the tombs of the Waldeck family, so the ancestors of Queen Emma. The house is nicely located, close to the fields and woods for walking and sufficient hundefreundlich.Der owner was nice, as long as we had nothing to complain about. This is what we had but, as we welcomed huge cobwebs in the corners of the house on the first day. The drawers of the cabinets and the lights in the bathroom were covered in dust, the showers were clogged. Upon request, the landlord does have corrected our complaints, but was rude because he can not use the stress. We should complain with Belvilla. The Declaration of night storage heater has annoyed him. This is the major cost! We have therefore heated with wood. Beautiful old property in a small village. Garden ideal for children to play. Enough space for 8 persons: 1 large bedroom on the 1st floor s with double bed, 1 bedroom in the attic with 2 single beds, 1 small bedroom on the ground floor with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom on the 1st floor with two single beds. We went in the morning after Waldeck (5 min drive) to Brötchenholen. The landlord has a great collection of old carriages and au rdem horses.

We took a step back in time in "our" timbered farmhouse and it was delicious. There was no wifi, no gas. But: board games, a lovely fireplace, a tree house, an outdoor barbecue. The hospitable owner showed us proudly show his Friesian horses and his impressive collection of carriages. The surroundings are beautiful. Plenty of nature, hills and a castle where you have a magnificent view of the Edersee. For culture and shopping, you can visit the nearby Kassel where the huge city park Wilhelmshöhe with its waterfalls is highly recommended.

I was only there a midweek with my 3 kids and my sister and the weather was pretty good. Not so hot, but fine for activities nearby to do: walks, ride a bike, climb to the lake, visiting Kassel ... The owners are very friendly people with good tips.

This spacious and inviting vacation home is located in the quiet village of Netze on the former Waldeck estate. With stylishly furnished interiors and generous space, it is perfect for one or even two families traveling together.
Just 5 km from the beautiful Lake Edersee, this house is the ideal starting point for summer hikes through the nearby nature park or exciting water sports activities on the lake. In winter, the ski resorts around Willingen are only a 45-minute drive away – an ideal retreat for the whole year.
A cozy fireplace in the living room and another on the first floor provide warmth and charm. The large garden with seating and an outdoor fireplace (which can also be used as a barbecue) makes the house particularly cozy. Three private parking spaces are available in the courtyard.
