Our group of three couples really enjoyed our stay at the historic Nuts Castle. It was a great central location for trips to Trier and Luxembourg, as well as serving as our home for an all-day tour of the Battle of the Bulge, and and the museum at Bastogne. Although the Castle had everything needed for us to do our own cooking, we sampled the several fine restaurants in Bastogne (we particularly enjoyed Wagon), but then used the kitchen at the Castle to make our own breakfasts. Staying in the same place that the US Army commanders had stayed helped us get into the history of the area. We has a great time!

Warmly received with wood fire and kaarsjes.Een very beautiful location with plenty of room for the grandchildren and a beautiful grand piano which the children treated us to a lovely pianoconcert.mooie environment, but little opportunity to eat outside, luckily the weather was rather inside eat.

The accommodation was very good and the area is very nice for walking. Bastogne is a very interesting town to visit. The accommodation has a home cinema installation to watch a movie with a large group. A small improvement point is to provide more comfortable seats in that corner. For the rest, everything was tip-top!

Arrival can only be after 16 o'clock, which is not practical because of food, better from 16 o'clock. Friendly welcome with good explanation. Very comfortable house with many beautiful bedrooms combined with bath / shower. Large lawn and outdoor seating / terrace. The swimming pond is now dry and hardly visible so that information about swimming has to be removed. The surrounding area is typical of Wallonia with quiet roads, hilly, woods and small villages with mostly animal husbandry and arable farming. Great for rest seekers.

Beautiful accommodation, tastefully decorated, beautiful location in a park landscape, ideal for a long weekend with children and grandchildren! Clean rooms, nice swimming pond, children's playground and tennis court. A few items that were on the inventory list were missing. The owner came to the rescue and personally arranged for the delivery of a missing high chair, lounge chairs and a mixer. Very thoughtful!

Beautiful authentic building, Nuts Castle in Bastogne, fully equipped. We had a great time, but it should be mentioned that the weather certainly played a role. The manager speaks French but is correct and easily accessible for any questions, in short, everything was well arranged and definitely recommended.

Beautiful castle in a nice quiet area. The castle is located along a highway, but you do not have much bother. The house is in style of World War II in Bastogne. There is a lot of information in the house about the war. There are many details that have a link with World War II and America. In the garden you can make a nice walk through the path to follow. Communication with the owner went very well via text messages. She speaks only French, so it may well be difficult. During our stay we were going to see more and more defects of the stay. Which we have described below. It is only 2.5 km drive to the center of Bastogne. At 10 minutes drive you car in Luxembourg. Very nice ride. Also you can go to a ski resort about 30 km away from the castle.

We had Nuts Castle with 9 adults and 6 children occupied. Nuts Castle is located in a peaceful park grounds and looks outwardly from beautiful and romantic. Unfortunately a motorway junction was built directly on the land, so that one always hears a noise. The object is for groups who want to relax in nature, but suitable in any case. Unfortunately we found the rented premises only swept but not cleaned thoroughly before. Both refrigerators and kitchen surfaces were filthy and sticky. The refrigerators we first had to thoroughly clean. The bathrooms were mopped only superficially. In the toothbrush cups we found dead flies and spiders eggs. Pretty disgusting. In a bathroom was missing a light bulb in one of two mirror lamps. We bought in the supermarket a new. However, we could not turn into the socket it because of the foot of the predecessor bulb still in the socket. Since we did not have needle-nose pliers, one we could not repair the air. A careful administrator should however provide the object in a perfect technical condition before the arrival of new guests. The kitchen on the first floor is made of billigstem IKEA material. I celebrated my birthday with family and friends. It was a unique atmosphere in and around this beautiful building. Lovingly decorated and surrounded by great parks, an idyllic frog pond there was a lot of exercise and fun for 10 adults and 8 children. Besides scavenger hunt and Tennis there were opportunities to play football, Frisbee or bocce. We felt like kings in France. Dinner was grilled and even the raindrops could us thanks to the covered lounge area with fireplace harm. We recommend!

Pleasant family weekend with the family. Plenty of room to explore children in safety area. Museum in Bastogne visited where children really were interested in over 7 years. "Nuts Castle" is a unique location, both for families with children (children's rooms and super nice home cinema), as a group of friends (like us) including fans of the history of WW II. Our weekend was part fully in the theme of World War II and through the story of Nuts Castle even our residence an interpretation on the theme. The castle is situated not far from the center of Bastogne, and it is also easy to explore the area (walking, running, biking, ...). The rooms are very stylish, clean, equipped with everything. Also, there is a spacious living room with a nice fireplace, a grand piano (for the music), home cinema and kitchen (where everything was available even extra accessories such as herbs and oil as you would have forgotten something). Given our large group, we had available both floors, and thus also a second kitchen (easy when you have to cook for many people) .We are very readily received by the concierge and also before and afterwards contacted by the owner himself to us as well possible to inform and ask direct feedback. In general, therefore, a very positive experience, SURE repeating!

Met de Tweede woning kun je elkaar zelfs uit de weg gaan.Also together amount almost happy again, the second kitchen and second living room we did not need that care was well regulated, Bastogne, at 1500 meters, super baker! And nice Vermieter.Wer complains here, then at a high Nivo , and claims that are out of place here. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful castle to celebrate something stylish with a group! All the space inside and outside. Quiet in the forest, and yet close to bustling center of Bastogne. Walk on the estate is a must! Angle cinema is also very relaxed)

Nuts Castle offers all possibilities to enjoy a pleasant stay in a very quiet area. The cottage provides comfort with plenty of room for guests, and with sufficient sportaccomodatie.Spijtig in mid-May, the swimming pool was not yet ready made summer.

This past Easter weekend was here with 7 adults and 5 children (1 / 11 years). It was delicious! Many use the home theater, games done at the big table and walked / cycling (mountain bike), and children played in the garden. The living room and kitchen are spacious enough. Kitchen very well equipped. Downstairs is also neat and cozy but downstairs is really only slept and used the 2nd fridge. Seems to me to be ideal if you are with older children. On one of the children's bedroom was a large blackboard with chalk. Our girls have played with a lot! Next to the kitchen was an extra table with stools where children have tinkered with, etc. The beds slept well. Single & quotnadeel "was that there was only one real shower. Furthermore, many bathrooms (one with bath, you could take a shower). For us this was no problem. The owner was on vacation and went communication via a friendly French lady. If there were problems with the language, I could call the owner (who also spoke NL) but that is not necessary. We found this location more than great peace, quiet, clean, well equipped, cozy and also in a castle. What more could you want ...

The residence and property left little to be desired. We like grandparents and the families of the four children enjoyed being together in the luxurious kasteelomgeving.Het is a nice domain. We also enjoyed the beautiful home cinema and DVD 's that were available! Very handy if the weather is not luck!
