A beautiful villa with all the trimmings. A nice bed, good reading lamps, a friendly welcome, a nice swimming pool, nice terrace, "own" forest, and what a rest! And all this in a beautiful region, where there is plenty to see.

We were super received by Hans, had a very good tour, accommodation had everything needed dishwasher, washing machine ... very nice house with lots of light. Located in the middle of nature where we could completely relax. Swimming pool and garden very well maintained. Recommended !!! You do need a car. We'll be back. Patrick, Katrien and Matisse

Friendly welcome by owner. We felt very welcome in the beautiful house, equipped with everything necessary. Superb accommodation that was also very neat. The house offers a lot of privacy and is situated in a beautiful garden with many trees. The pool is also beautiful and practical.

Fabulous accommodation in the beautiful modern home. It is just outside a small village and entirely private. Hans welcomed us on arrival and gave us some excellent ideas about restaurants and places to visit locally.

Location was difficult to find but once arrived the reception was fine. Owner explained everything well. Accommodation met our expectations and was therefore excellent, a few minor defects but not disturbing. The area is beautiful! Lots of nature and nice villages / towns to explore.

"t is in a quiet location with lots of greenery around the house. If you want privacy during your holiday, you are in the perfect spot. We (husband, wife, child of 11) spent the autumn holidays in this beautiful villa. The villa itself is beautiful, quietly located but still a short distance from, for example, a supermarket and restaurants. A car is necessary. The owner received us kindly and explained everything about the house and all communication went smoothly. As expected it was too cold for the unheated pool but it was warm enough to sit outside by the pool. The table tennis table was a great success, especially with our son. Thank you very much for a nice stay!

Een uiterst voorkomende en zeer gastvrije gastheer heeft ons ruim twee weken lang een echt “welkom-gevoel” gegeven. Warm welcome by owner who showed us the house and gave the necessary explanation A bottle of white and red wine was already ready He made every effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible. we repeatedly felt that if we did not want something or we needed something we had to let this know. We have had 3 wonderful weeks in which we have explored a lot of the beautiful surroundings. is a nice house with big windows in the living room and a sliding door in the kitchen so you look into the forest.We have seen deer walking through deer a few times and even once a deer with two little ones! There is also a nice large swimming pool which is well maintained. In the house everything is available what you might need and did the owner more than what he required under the agreement, such as providing kitchen and bath linen. On the few rainy days we had the large flat screen TV with Dutch channels was also nice

We had a wonderful time in Caen at La Maison Celeste. The welcome and guidance by Celeste with all questions was great. The house was nice. We never went wrong. Cosily furnished, with the possibility to sit outside as well as inside. And within walking distance of the center of Caen. With nice shops, cozy restaurants and with various sights. We did not finish in a midweek... We would like to come back!

This accommodation met all our expectations. It is a beautiful modern house with a beautiful, well-kept swimming pool on a nice forest plot. We found the area very beautiful and very varied. The homeowner had very good tips on a leaf for the area, which was also very handy. For us the first time preseason, but with heat wave of around 40 degrees. So tropical anyway. The house and garden were perfect for this, the bedroom was still cool and there were fans. The house is also pleasant to stay on a rainy day. A fantastic holiday!

The arrival was cozy, the owner explained everything about the house and what to do in the area. it is a nice and neat house, with a nice swimming pool just a shame that the pool's "evening no longer in the sun, because it is still cold. There was no dining table outside we were very sorry, but that would be the controlling owner for next year.

Reception was ok, a bit clumsy but friendly. Unfortunately the villa was not clean and we first had to clean for an hour and a half to get the bit pleasant. Villa is in urgent need of updating, cleaning, cleaning and garden maintenance. Location is great, nice and quiet with lots of privacy. Owner is discreet. Swimming pool was only cleaned in the evening by a robot, which never yielded the desired result.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner who lives next to the house. However, this is not visible because the building entirely free in the forest state, which gave us a wonderful sense of freedom. The house was neat clean on arrival. The house is very stylish and comfortable furnishings. It is built and furnished as a home and that is to feel. The living room is exceptionally spacious and has beautiful windows overlooking the forest. The second night there was a deer in the garden. What is really nice is the large sliding doors we had the open all day. There were no mosquitoes. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and was decorated very well. Both bathrooms were super nice with rain shower. The pool was spacious and had at the beginning a small plateau where the 15 cm deep from the plateau the rest of the pool was underwater stairs was equally deep (chest height). The water in the pool was very clean and well maintained. The large garden was actually a clearing in the forest where the stay was delicious sun or shade all there was. Overall it was a perfect home. Was there nothing to complain about? Not really. Only we can say that for some people the sound transmission between d

The house is really beautifully designed. Very modern and bright. A very large garden which has lots of privacy. In the garden you have both sun and shade. The house is almost too beautiful for a vacation home. The welcome by the owner (who lives nearby) is very cordial and he is ready for any questions and tips that you may have. Obviously over the house, but also on restaurants and activities nearby. The pool is lovely and along with the well equipped kitchen and the BBQ can you really relax. In the neighborhood you can walk, the small neighborhood supermarket is 15 minutes walk (of course also accessible by car). Although the house is secluded, you are very quickly in several trips by car (karting, towns, wineries, etc). Really a place for a wonderful holiday where you can relax and you're out and can combine.

Tip from the houseowner
The Lot is one of France’s least populated departments. Among the French it is well known for its unspoiled beauty and excellent local cuisine. Situated at a considerable distance from the tempering influence of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, winters can be cold and summers hot and dry. By the end of summer with the majority of tourists gone, September is considered, by some, the most pleasant month of the year. Traditionally the Lot has been a favourite destination for those who prefer privacy, beauty and excellent food to discos and mass amusement. We have had the good fortune of living here for almost thirty years.
As a foretaste of what to look forward to, here are some tips:
If time permits (and it should!) never drive straight to your destination but lose yourself in the small by-roads: you will be delighted by the beauty and variation of landscape and architecture and, if lost, your GPS will guide you to where you ultimately wanted to go.
Cahors (about fifteen minutes from Boissieres), as the capital of the department, provides all necessary needs and services, including direct train connections to Paris and Toulouse. It is a beautiful, intimate town, breathing the ambiance and allure of the Midi. Not to be missed are its colourful market and regular brocantes and antique shows.
Some of France’s major tourist sites are within easy reach; if they turn out to be too crowded just the trip getting there will have been worthwhile.
Whereas our house is situated in the Quercy Noir, the region south of Cahors is called the Quercy Blanc – with good reason. The two regions are very different in color, landscape and architecture: one of our favourite Sunday outings is a trip to Montcuq with its busy market and lively terraces.
The food enthousiast has the choice of a wide range of excellent (and mostly very affordable) restaurants – from the simple auberge, mainly offering the local cuisine, to the sophisticated Michelin starred ones ( le Gindreau**, so to say around the corner from us, just got its second star).
