We were with several families together in this house. So adults, teenagers, children and a baby. It is a nice house with many rooms. The children thought the box bed was fantastic. The beds were quite good. The layout of the room was also very good because the kitchen is somewhat separated from the living room. In terms of kitchen design, there was really everything we needed. In terms of house there is a lesser room. This one has no windows the four poster bed is there I think to make up for that. The cottage is at the back of the park and between the trees. So even though you have neighbors you hardly notice it. Outside there was a nice terrace where we roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace in the evening. For the smallest there was a nice indoor playground. The regular playground with an air trampoline is also nice. Very nice house for a nice price.

Super nice park, beautiful surroundings, and a lovely house. It's a pity that we have to check out by 10:00 (max. 12:00) on a Sunday. Fortunately, there was some flexibility, but otherwise our 'weekend' would have already been over on Sunday morning.

It is a nice spacious house with a large kitchen. The living room, on the other hand, is a dark, sad space. It is a mix of very old with some renovation work. But otherwise, it's fine.

A cozy house and beautiful surroundings. The kitchen was very nice and spacious. However, there are some downsides: Only 2 toilets for 18 people, while 3 were mentioned in the description. Bathrooms and bedrooms are very simply furnished (a shelf in the bathroom would be useful for toiletries, and a simple nightstand would be handy in the bedrooms).

Great place to stay! It has enough space, the staff is very friendly! It has its rest can celebrate undisturbed or relax too. Had great Pentecost weekend with the kids and grandkids! Because of the beautiful weather, we also can enjoy. Swimming pool At the park there were nice surprises, like eating pancakes for the kids (aged between 1 and 10year), but also near the house there was play options for both the little ones and the big ones. In short, something for everyone, we enjoyed!!!! Thank you, Malcolm.

We had planned a weekend with the cousins. Very spacious house for an entire group of 15 people. Everyone has a lot of fun. spacious kitchen. There is enough space that you still have time for yourself eg somewhere to go read a book. We are still on Saturday to giethoorn been very nice environment and definitely worth it to go and look.

We enjoyed ourselves very well. It's a nice house with so many people. Which we were very happy was the conservatory with the seats in the house. The reception was also fine. We were an hour early, it was no problem. Some found it less that 3 double bedrooms were instead two-person, but you could move beds. We found this property to be repeated vatbaar.We only had a bit of bad luck with the weather: heavy rain, thus it was at the front very muddy. There could be a bit bigger oppervak u200bu200bbe paved then you with in-and uiststappen not have to walk through the mud.

After a bumpy dirt road, we found that the facility exceeded our expectations. We were 11 people with ages of 5-75 years and everyone has the stay very pleasant gevonden.Als trips we had chosen a stormy Giethoorn (Smit, Zuiderpad 58), zoo Taman Indonesia and the butterfly paradise. Holiday home in De Bult near Giethoorn Waters
Steenwijk is located in the head of Overijssel. On the wet westside this picturesque town borders on the water region of Giethoorn and the Weerribben.
On the dry eastside you will find the nature areas De Woldberg and De Eese. In this area of 1500 ha. you will see forests, heaths, fields, charming farmhouses and a real small castle. You will find two cottages in this fabulous region: De Arendshorst and De Valkenhorst.
De Valkenhorst is a very comfortable bungalow with 5 bedrooms that sleep 3 persons each. There is a large bathroom with bath, shower, wash basin and toilet and a second bathroom with shower and wash basin. De Valkenhorst is spacious and offers a large hall and a spacious living room. There is also a 25m veranda. This cottage also offers a sunny and sheltered terrace. This house is ideal for family celebrations. This house is often rented in combination with the six-person bungalow located between "De Arendshorst" and "De Valkenhorst".
For groups with a different composition than family, a deposit of 1000 euros is requested.
