The holiday home in Osterklief (North Holland) was very nice, lots of space, clean and well equipped. The landlords are very nice and are always available with advice and help. On the terrace in front of the house you could enjoy the peace and quiet, have breakfast and eat delicious food in the evening. In the area we could make long or short bike tours every day , and visit a few places, like the island of Texel. Small towns can also be reached by bike in the vicinity, where you can enjoy coffee and delicious ice cream. We enjoyed our holiday very much, recharged our batteries, and we will definitely be back. Beautiful house, fully equipped. Beautiful location in beautiful surroundings and yet the supermarket at 5 minutes. The Italian in Hippolytushoef is a must. Nice garden. Beaches and sights within a reasonable distance. A day trip to Gexel is also easy to do. Recommended!

There were four of us in this beautiful holiday home for two weeks at the beginning of September 2020. It was our first time in Holland. The people are relaxed and friendly. So do our landlords who live next door. The house is very comfortably furnished and you will find everything you need on vacation. We had fresh eggs from the chickens every morning. A vacation in this house is definitely recommended.

The accommodation was clean, tidy, spacious. The beds were good! The garden with trampoline, swing and goal was very nice. The arrival was pleasant. We received an extensive tour of the house, flowers were on the table and we also received delicious cakes from the local bakery! There is plenty to see and do in the area to keep you entertained.

Very friendly reception. Guided tour of the house and lots of info about the neighborhood. Nothing is too much. Coffee appliance not in order, s. In the afternoon there was a new one. It is right next to the farm, but you get all the rest to enjoy your holiday.

A little summary for us and other guests: ••• VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL LANDLORDS ••• Thank you once again! ••• GREAT HOUSE ••• - clean, spacious, well-furnished - beautiful garden with terrace, sun loungers, grill, play equipment for children ••• QUIET LOCATION IN NORTH HOLLAND ••• many destinations easily reachable: ○ dune-rich NORTH SEA COAST for swimming (huge sandy beaches along the coast also for children) / cycling / hiking (Schoorlse Dunes with heather bloom around August) ○ DEN HELDER with museum harbor / marine museum, lighthouse, ferry to Texel Island ○ TEXEL ISLAND with dunes, beaches, cycling paths, charming towns, and many places for birdwatching ○ DEN OEVER (fish restaurants and market Saturdays 8:30–12, free bike bus over the closure dike) ○ ALKMAAR (canals, cheese market, etc. April–September Fridays 10–13, church, town hall, windmill, etc.); convenient + cheap by train from Anna Paulowna station ○ AMSTERDAM (canals, churches, museums, zoo, and much more); convenient + cheap by train from Anna Paulowna station; recommendation: Amsterdam Card for several days (lots to see; usually free entry to attractions in the city / surroundings / public transport including a canal cruise in Amsterdam and Haarlem) ○ IJSSELMEER with beautiful historic towns Enkhuizen / Hoorn / Medemblik (all 3 connected by ferry, train, steam locomotive; Enkhuizen also with ferries and dam across the Ijsselmeer) ○ good NETWORK OF CYCLING PATHS ○ TYPICAL dikes, canals, windmills, show gardens, and tulip fields (blooming April / May), sale of flower bulbs ○ etc. Hope to see you soon!

There were five of us (2 adults and 3 children) for 2 weeks in August 2021 in this holiday home! It's a beautiful house with a great garden right next to a paddock. There is a swing, a trampoline and a soccer goal for the children! The location is very quiet next to a small farm not far from Hypoltushoef. Overall, a great holiday home with super nice hosts. We would love to come back and can only recommend a stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation! The house is fully equipped and is located in the green. Children enter the garden with a big trampoline and a goal. The owners are very friendly and have a lot of tips to do and see in the area. Recommended!

A very nicely decorated and large house, that you can very well with children, also with very small, inhabit. The garden is fenced and offers plenty of opportunities for even bigger children. A highlight are the chickens and horses. It should be noted, that it is all only single beds, which one can but together, but can not connect. We were with 4 children and would go again!

Very warmly received, everything very neat, fresh flowers on the table, fresh cakes were ready for us. We were made to feel very welcome. The house is all right, good beds, good shower. We were there during a week of heat wave, very hot inside, but owners were kind enough to provide fans. We have used well. Very quiet location in the countryside. Yet close to beaches on the North Sea, close to Den Helder and ferry to Texel, cozy villages on the Ijsselmeer are easily accessible. We thought it was a very interesting region. Both holiday home and region are highly recommended !!
