It was a fabulous stay at this gorgeous property! We were sad to be leaving as it almost started to feel like home. Our host gave us a wonderful welcome, and we appreciated all the amenities, how clean and sparkly the whole house is, the maintenance, the small details, and excellent garden and outdoor facilities! The kitchen, dining, and living room area is spacious, bright and large glass doors open onto the garden terrace. The master bedroom looks onto a quiet end of the garden which makes for a stunning way to wake up. The large, modern bathroom is excellent, there is a second WC, a laundry, children"s room, the whole house is well lit, and all windows are equipped with electric roller shutters. We shall miss sitting beneath the old apple tree in the evenings and enjoying the serenity of this beautiful property which is surrounded by large, old trees. and blind, was safe to wander around and have little adventures. The whole property is thoughtfully fenced off so that dogs can run freely in the back garden. The surrounding countryside made for beautiful walks through corn and wheat fields, small forests, and visits to local bakeries, cheese makers, castles, and the historic Opal Coast with its stunning beaches. We hope to return one day in the future, it was a superb week in a very charming place with a great host!

The driveway gave us a wow feeling. We were very kindly welcomed by the owner, even cakes and fruit juice were ready. The surroundings give you rest, no shops, no hustle and bustle. We felt right at home.

C "is a recent housing, which has been furnished with care and is very well maintained (clean and sharp!). The decor leaves and- forth there guess the personality of the owners, and yet it's "it feels like home! It" s not an easy balance to achieve! Bravo! C "is charming! The fact that the unit has full- foot was a highlight for our 3 children 1 to 6 years. They are also much more to the Hill for animals is in the village. We only regret n "have visited all the places presented by Mr Duwat ... Lack of time. But it is very good advice and always provides its vacanciers.Ce place is a true bubble "oxygen! Ze hadden ook een geweldig tijd Hill in animals, in het dorp aanwezig.Hoe jammer dat we toch niet alle plaatsen Konden bezoeken dat eigenaar ons voorstelde, t ijdstekort ... Maar Dhr Duwat is echt van goede raad in staat van zijn steeds ter beschikking vacanciers.Deze plek was een echte aanrader.

We spent a week at St. Godeleine and absolutely loved it. The house is very comfortable, clean and freshly renovated. It has a nice terrace with an apple tree and a great garden, Which was perfect for our dogs. The proprietor is very friendly and Supplied us with lots of great tips of what to do in the area. We loved the beautiful landscape of the "Terre des 2 Caps", love especially the view from Cap Griz-Nez. The beach at Wissant is perfect for walking and just 15 minutes by car. In the nearby towns - E. G. Marquise Wimereux or - there are farmer's markets where you can buy the delicious food of the area. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Very warmly welcomed by the owner Julien, there was a bottle of fruit juice, a loaf and a cheese from the local cheese farm waiting for us. Got useful tips about what to do in the area. Before our departure from Belgium we were emailed a detailed route description and that was very useful, we were too early for our destination but that was not a problem. Very quiet location. It was still too fresh to be able to enjoy the garden. The opal coast is just a stone's throw away, many hiking opportunities and all kinds of restaurants. Highly recommended!

We are on our arrival very friendly and attentive of Mr. Duwat had been received. There were different drinks and two small tarts as welcome. Duwat was very attentive and concerned about our welfare. The house is very clean and modern furnished, so that with us no wishes remained open. We and our dog felt very comfortable. The completely fenced garden made it possible for Sam to be in the house and garden all day. We also enjoyed the terrace with apple tree and the garden very. The coast is worth seeing and the landscape and villages of the area invite to excursions. We will definitely be back at Hr. Duwat holiday.

What a nice place this is! An oasis of tranquility in a beautiful setting. The opal coast is really beautiful. The house is very clean and fully equipped. The garden is also very nice to be. At the end of April, beginning of May 2019, we spent two wonderful weeks in the accommodation. The reception by the host Julien Duwat was very friendly. Cakes, juice, water and a lot of information were available for us guests. The condominium is very nice and with much flair of an old country house. The house is cozy and well equipped. The terrace and the fully fenced garden are lovely in good weather. Especially for dog owners, the house is ideal.

We stayed in this beautiful accommodation for a week in March. We were very kindly received by Julien, who has a good command of the English language. The house is fully equipped. Although the bath was a bit too small for my partner, he still used it several times. We have cooked and eaten "home" every day. In the evening we watched a DVD once in a while, which were present in the house, because the TV could only receive French-language channels. . The place is a good base for the coastal areas. We have explored a different stretch of the coast every day, walking, running or photographing. Unfortunately the sun let us down a bit, but that didn't spoil the fun. Julien stopped by before we left, and took all the time to listen to our stories. He is working on another apartment closer to the coast, which will be ready this year. We enjoyed it. In August we spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful gîte. It is very spacious and well furnished. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the owner with tartlets, orange juice and a wealth of information and brochures about restaurants, attractions, the environment .... Our dog immediately felt comfortable in the large garden and took it for himself. The mattresses are excellent (which is not always the case in France), so we slept wonderfully. Unfortunately, the weather did not always play, but when the sun was shining, we enjoyed them in the sun loungers in the garden. Monsieur Julien is a very friendly and helpful host who always has time for a chat and is there to help and advise immediately if there is a problem or a question. So we had a lot of fun! Since it is impossible to find out the good ones with the large number of restaurants in the region, we have taken his tips, no matter in which place, and always ate very well. We enjoyed it so much that we will definitely be planning a vacation in Wierre-Effroy again. Until then - au revcoir! Good bye!

This is a lovely gîte in a beautiful area of France, comfortable for 4 persons. All the amenities required were available, including 2 bikes, a log burner with free wood available. The enclosed garden is perfect if you take your dog(s) and in tj summer very cooling to sit in due to shade from all the surrounding trees. The gîte is well centered for numerous trips of touristy things, despite castles, forests and/or beaches. Nothing is more than an hour away. Julien is the perfect host. Upon arrival he came and spent time with us explaining what we can do in the area and he even emailed all the information we wanted for beaches and forests to walk our dog. The restaurant around the corner is great for a nice home cooked meal, and not expensive at all! The friendly waitress was very busy, but we were never kept waiting. The weather during our stay was lousy, but the gîte was never uncomfortable. We even used the Weber BBQ which was at our disposal, even though it was (slightly) raining!
We certainly can recommend Julien"s gîte!
