Great location!! How beautiful it was in the area! Beautiful house! Nice sauna! Delicious apple juice from our own orchard! Nice fireplace in the living room for a cozy cozy fire! Keep in mind that there are 3 double beds and 2 single beds, so if 3 couples book the house for less than 8 people, it is better and you don't have to sleep in someone's bed haha :P Furthermore, we really have enjoyed!

The arrival was well organized. Laurent was waiting for us on arrival and gave us a warm welcome. The house is in a very beautiful area and is equipped with every luxury. We stayed with a group of friends of 7 people and had a great weekend. Laurent was always easily accessible. The sauna and pool were very comfortable. The house has all the amenities you need. The environment is very calming and inspiring. We would love to come back here.

Received on arrival by the super friendly owner. Beautifully renovated authentic house. The whole accommodation is in perfect order (including beautiful rain showers, beautiful new sauna (for rent separately), nice wood fire, beautiful large swimming pool ...). The region is also very beautiful and surprising in many areas (nature, culinary, historical, ...).

We enjoyed our week in Aubel, beautiful quiet location, very nice walks in the region (Voeren, three-country point, St-Jean-Sart). After a brisk walk, we enjoyed a relaxing sauna with a view of the garden. The house itself is very practical with two beautiful renovated bathrooms. The only downside was that the previous tenants had dirty dishes from the dishwasher put back in the cupboards, quickly remedied and afterwards 100% enjoyed.

We had a very pleasant stay here! The pool was great (though you can only use it between 10am-12pm and 2-4pm every day) and we got lucky with very sunny weather most of the week. The nature surrounding the house is beautiful, the supermarket a 5 min drive away and the host Laurent very helpful, answering our questions straight away whenever I texted him. Though the site said kitchen linen would be provided, be mindful of the fact that it’s 1 kitchen towel and you might want to take more with you (towels for the toilets and bathrooms too). The non-stick coating of some of the pans in the kitchen was coming off, so some of them should probably be replaced. But overall, there were enough utensils, cutlery, plates, etc. for our group of eight.
We were there during the last two weekends of August, which is when the town festival happens (which we were properly warned about thanks to the hosts). If you’re debating whether or not to go during that time: there’ll be loud party music next door, with a bass that made our car alarm go off and the lights in the bedroom flicker, on Fridays and Saturdays until about 2 or 3am. As we didn’t go to bed much earlier than that most evenings, it was alright, but the last Friday before check-out it did bother us, and we didn’t get much sleep.
The showers were great, the house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The only real downside was the noisiness of the house. Half of the beds are in ‘open’ bedrooms, meaning there are no walls or doors between them and the living room downstairs. The other half are in a room above the kitchen, but despite that room having a door, you could hear everything that was said downstairs. So, if you’re traveling in a group that isn’t on the same sleep schedule, this might not be the right place for you.
The house is, like others have already stated, a little dark. But it’s beautiful and the garden is absolutely lovely, as is the sauna. I think back on our week there fondly. Thank you!

Great, quietly located holiday home with a lovely sauna, fireplace and beautifully renovated bathrooms. Many opportunities for walks in the immediate vicinity. The town of Aubel is 4 km away and has plenty of shops for daily shopping. Liège, Maastricht and Aachen are half an hour away for a day trip.

Lovely house, nicely renovated and fully equipped. Sauna super, use of swimming pool also very nice! Quiet area with plenty to do. Only downside are the 'open' rooms .. little privacy and very noisy due to open spaces. Enough space. We are enjoying it a lot!

Very nice arrival at the house Le puits de Sint Jean: lights in the garden, already warmed up inside, beds already made. Bicycles ready for use in a bicycle rack on the closed terrace: great! Pleasant contact with Laurent too, which made us feel extra welcome. We had hoped for snow this weekend, but to no avail ... Luckily the pre-heated sauna more than made up for it! A must in our opinion.

Charming character house in a rural setting. The sauna is top and towels, etc. are provided. The kids enjoyed the pool. The owners have really done their best with an extensive information folder (with information about the area) and also a phone call in advance.

It is a cozy house in a beautiful area. Lovely swimming pool. Had good contact with Laurent. I had asked a question via the app and then he called to speak to me and explain some more things. He indicated that he always calls the guests in advance, which is very attentive and gives you a warm welcome. This is my first time renting a house through Belvilla. Very satisfied with this. Learned to read the description better. The last night we were banging out of bed because of a party that was going on next to us and lasted until two o'clock. Afterwards it was stated in the description that in the last two weeks of August there is a village festival. Fortunately, there was not music until late every night, but it is something to take into account. In any case, we had a nice holiday and the house and the surroundings are definitely recommended.

Nice house in beautiful surroundings. The renovated parts are in very good order: showers, saunas and terrace. Kitchen and utensils have been completely revamped. Fireplace that does not draw properly. Regrettable. 2 mezzanines that splurge on each other. Fine for us as a family, but how you do that with 8 adults is not clear to us. Despite mention on the site, there is no high chair available. Laurent is easily accessible and very helpful.

We had a great holiday, and the landlord responded adequately after an acute leak from the shower.
What disappointed us is that we expected to have rented a house with 3 bedrooms. However, 2 of these rooms are built on 2 so-called "vides", open floors that are located above the sitting room. If the rhythms of your company vary quite a bit, as was the case with us (early birds and teenagers ;-) then that's not nice.
We would have appreciated it if this had been stated honestly in the advertisement, then I would certainly have looked further for a more appropriate holiday accommodation for our group.

Garden and sauna are super, we really enjoyed it! The pool was also great, just a pity about the loose tiles on the edge! The range of bicycles (good condition) is a plus. The house itself has not met our expectations, although the 2 bathrooms have been renovated, the house still needs more renovation. The house is very dark (too little light) and there are not enough decent kitchen supplies. the house is suitable for 6 pp but not for 8. The upstairs room is not a full room. Photos do not reflect reality. The bed in open space needs to be replaced. Regrettably a missed opportunity because of the unique location. Provided proper adjustments, we want to come back every year. With kind regards

Electric sockets coming out of the wall, oven rails were mounted Scottish and crooked in the oven, cracked window in the kitchen, kitchen utensils not sufficient and tired to cook a decent meal there, poorly insulated house (wind blowing under the front door ( large window), heating had to get up non-stop + fireplace to get it warm Room with bunk bed did not get warm (despite the heating that was turned on all the way day and night).

House in Sint Jansrade with Pool
This renovated residence in the heart of Sint-Jansrade has a beautiful location and access to an outdoor swimming pool. It is an excellent choice for families.
The gite is located in the charming village of Sint-Jansrade, with typical stone houses and a beautiful view over the green hills. The area is perfect for walks (Balades au Pays d'Aubel), mountain bike and horse riding. Visit cities such as Liège and Maastricht or go fishing at Pêcherie du Berg. The Siroperie Artisanale d'Aubel Nyssen tour is also very worthwhile. In the last 2 weeks of August, the annual village festival normally takes place next to the holiday home.
Unwind in the sauna or take a cooling dip in the outdoor pool located in the garden of the neighbors and owners. The pool is available for private use in the morning and afternoon. There are 4 bicycles at the disposal of the guests and on request you can take yoga lessons or opt for half board.
IMPORTANT : Swimming pool is open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., from June to September
