The two bedrooms upstairs include one double and two single beds, ideal for families. Parking is available right in front of the cabin. Enjoy scenic walks or bike rides around the lakes, or dine at the nearby lake house restaurant with a large terrace and friendly service. The cabin was cozy and well-equipped for our needs, It was just a short drive to local attractions and the convenience store, which made our stay very practical, The patio area was nice, but we wished for a more secure garden for our dog, Overall, a solid choice for a family getaway

Nice house with new bathroom, plenty of outdoor space and well-equipped kitchen. The cottage is located in a park where most of the houses seem to be in use by the owners. Near the lake in the park. Supermarket about 500 meters away. Many opportunities for beautiful walks in the area. It was very easy and pleasant to communicate and coordinate for check-in / check-out and also very flexible.

A little surprised by the fact that this house is a dwelling in a holiday village. Well appointed and cozy main room which counterbalances the very basic and not very insulated rooms (Fortunately, the heating works well!). Warm and welcoming house which however lacks finishing.

Beautiful holiday park.Lots of light in the living room.Sanitary new.Keuken ok.There may be a table with regular chairs. We then brought in the outside table. But no freezer in the fridge, and the stairs without a handrail. Brrr ... And for that price it wasn't cleaned enough.

Very friendly reception. Nice environment. At first sight nice house but on closer inspection quite a few defects such as unsafe electricity. Unfortunately also bad mattresses. Thought it was too pricey for what we got. All in all, we made the best of it and still enjoyed it.

Beautiful surroundings, quiet bungalow park, the house there on the other hand very unhygienic, bed linen was not changed, we had to wash everything ourselves. Very unfortunate.

The cottage needs urgent works. The maintenance outside was not ok. Dirty BBC and table and chairs without cushions and also very dirty. No information about departure, only key in locker and time of departure

Pros: -Free WiFi and TV with Netflix.-Parking space right in front of the door.-Pets allowed.-Garden. -Beautiful and very quiet environment. Negatives: -We had forgotten our reservation.-Only room for 4 people as it is indicated for 6. With 6 people this would be really uncomfortable. finish is missing.-Stairs to the top are without handrail. -Electricity network is well dated. -There is a hole in the fence outside so be careful with your pet. General verdict: We thought it was far too pricey for a dated holiday home that had not been cleaned properly. For the same price and duration we stayed the year before in a beautifully furnished new building in Vielsalm with 4 people, which was highly recommended.

On entering the park from the main gate drive up to a fork in the road, take the right hand fork and follow the road for several minutes. You will bear to the right then go straight then pass a car park on your left and the cabin is the 1st house after the carpark on your left ( the last house ) before a another clearing / carpark. For amenities you have a selection of stores on the the Steenweg (turn right out of the park then left or right at the roundabout. Jumbo is our favourite store it has lovely food and all you need for your stay. Also on Steenweg you have a selection of restaurants

Right at the roundabout - American diner , Coffee House , Japanese , Chinese , Italian

Things to do in the locality -

Enjoy the natural beauty of the lakes No1 lake has a man made beach with a kiddies playground and restaurant. Lake No2,3 you can fish for Carp,Pike.Bream and Perch. Lake No4 is a children's swimming only lake also with several beaches for sunbathing.
Rent a bike for 10 euro per day at the park reception or walk around the woods and surrounding area.

Cologne Germany - A 1hr drive and is well worth a visit with plenty of fine dining or maybe a traditional German brewery , check out the fantastic Cathedral or take in a museum or a walk along the Rhine river.

Brussels Belgium - A 1hr drive Soak up the Capital of Belgium taste some traditional trapist beers in the one of the many sqaures, taste the quintesential Belgium dish Moulle & Fritte and may be the odd chocolate for dessert. Many things to do in this city including fantastic night life , museums , one could also visit the HQ of the EU to find out about Brexit ;-)

Maastricht Holland - The nearest City just 10 mins drive from the cabin. Maastricht is a cosy place with a nice mix of people (a big university made up of 71 different nationalities) great shops , a lovely market on Friday in the Market sqaure (try the traditional Dutch fried fish) , rent a push bike or moped and cruise around town , check out the most amazing book shop housed in an old church - Boekhandel Dominicanen or just enjoy the laid back vibe of the city.
