Beautiful house in a beautiful place, friendly welcome and clear contact in advance. Indeed noisy, but with large children or several adults no problem. Entertained us with everything the house had to offer and the fun things in the area.

Beautiful, spacious house. Beautiful and quiet location. Playful layout of the house with different levels. More than sufficient distraction for the children (but also for us, adults) in the form of Pool billiards, darts, table football, table tennis and board games. Good contact with and friendly reception from the owner. For us some downside (you), the house is very noisy. Especially the 2 bedrooms above the living room have a lot of noise from the living room.

Beautiful spacious compound home. Seems to have been some kind of restaurant in the past. This is reflected in the extensive kitchen facilities where you can prepare dishes to your heart's content.
On arrival the accommodation was clean and tidy. We were half an hour late due to traffic jams, but that was no problem. The door had already been opened and we could settle in quietly. The next day the owner came by and we were able to transfer the deposit.
It is a rural area, with agricultural activity in the area. They mow, feed, saw and work to their heart's content on the land around the accommodation. But that doesn't bother you much in the garden, because immediately adjacent there are a sweet boar, deer, goats and horses grazing in a closed area. The garden is also ideal for the dog, because it is enclosed and quite large.
We had a problem twice during our stay. Once with the washing machine and once with a fire extinguisher that had fallen from the wall. Both problems were neatly resolved by the owner.
Other reviews often talk about the noise in the accommodation. That is indeed the case, but for our large family with older family members it was not a major problem. Half of the house consists of only planks as floorboards, and that blocks little noise. The other half has more solid floors, so if you want to sleep peacefully you can choose your room there.
For a perfect stay, it is useful if you can speak French. The owner and the people around the accommodation do not speak Dutch or English.

Our family weekend was fantastic! We not only enjoyed the beautiful weather, but also the spacious house with fully equipped kitchen so that we could cook together. There was more than enough for the children to do: an arcade, billiards, ping pong and kicker table. In the evening we could warm up in the sauna with a starry sky. And we were all big fans of Basile, the boar in the adjacent meadow who comes when you call him (and give him something to eat)!

On arrival the owner was there in a timely manner. It was a pleasant introduction. We were given a tour of the house. The house was as it was described at Belvilla. We had a pleasant stay.

It was a nice accommodation. Enough space for everyone and fully equipped. Nice big kitchen with lots of stuff. For older children there was also plenty to do, pool (with the handicap of the wall and stairs too close to the table), darts (arrows are a bit dull), table football, table tennis (bring your own balls) and jeu de boules. The trampoline was unfortunately no longer present, that the 2 youngest children found a pity. There was plenty to do in the area. The Comblain caves are also recommended. A guided tour explaining how the cave was created in a very nice way. If you like shopping Liège is about 45 minutes away. There is a very large market there on Sunday. For the youngest children we also went to Plopsa Coo for a day, nice park but very busy, 1 hour waiting at the attractions. Parc Chlorophylle is a walk through a forest with all kinds of educational facts and playgrounds. Nice park and nicely set up. All in all, we had a very nice holiday.

We enjoyed having children, grandchildren and the dogs. It was also very nice weather, which meant that we lived more outside than inside. Each couple had their own room, just big enough for our family. A little dot maybe, too little light above the cooking pots.

The arrival time is much too tight: you can arrive between 5 pm and 6 pm. That is almost impossible if you work and are on the road for a long time. We could not predict in advance what the traffic would be like. We informed us by text message that we would not make it on time and the owner reacted very badly. We did not arrive relaxed and were not warmly welcomed. The house was completely fine. Lots of facilities. Very noisy. Cardboard walls and floors.

Spacious holiday home with a nice garden and terrace. Animals in the adjacent meadow were a plus. Kitchen had everything we needed but the large dining table was upstairs. Downstairs, next to the kitchen, is a small table. Too bad we always had to carry everything upstairs to eat at a table with everyone. Bathrooms were simple. Unfortunately small leak in toilet upstairs causing a puddle of water in the kitchen. Was a known problem apparently. Biggest downside for us was the noise. There was no insulation so you could hear everything from the kitchen / living room in most bedrooms.
