There is a terrace to the east where the morning sun can be enjoyed, as well as to the south and west, some of which are covered. The area is very child-friendly with access to a common playground, ball field, and petanque court. In the forest there is a nature playground. There are good fishing opportunities by the fishing lake just 800 m from the house or in Thorsminde. There are good bathing opportunities in both Nissum Fjord, where the water is shallow and in the North Sea.
