We had a great time in this cozy chalet! The location is just right, close enough to La Roche but still feels remote, The barbecue on the terrace was a hit with the kids, Would definitely recommend!

After a steep climb over a narrow road, this gite is reached. The location is beautifully quiet, the trees do not look so much, but that did not matter. The gite itself is spacious but looks dated. And there are plenty of opportunities to cuddle the gite themselves.

We were welcomed very friendly in a beautiful environment? Regarding the accommodation was slightly on the smaller side. It was the most necessary, but that was it. The seats were not practical to rest after a long walk. Sure enough place if you are present with six. In the summer this would be a lesser problem. However, in the cold winter months, this is not sufficient.

Access road is very bad! The accommodation we found reasonable but due to maintenance. A nice garden! However, the environment is delicious and that was the most important thing.

The location is very nice and cozy but the bathroom urgently needs a refurbishment (toilet continues to run, large damp spots on the bath) After showering there is a damp smell which is not so pleasant and the bath is a bit loose when you are in it The beds are also very hard to sleep on which is not so nice for someone with a sore back. For the rest it was a nice quiet holiday for our family

Environment was beautiful, lovely to wandelen.Jammer of the challet who has had his best time, despite the refurbishment still a lot of work to do, such as the beds very poor quality and glued, the drain of the bath that is loose, mold in the bath, tap in the kitchen that was loose, hood that does not work ..... too many to mention, company of ants. Rats poison open in the garden, not fun if there are pets and small children.

The arrival was fine. There was already like a man ready to lead us. The cottage location is perfect. Nice and quiet and beautiful surroundings for hiking. Too bad that the vegetation around the cottage was not pruned, so we could not look in the valley. Furthermore, the cottage has definitely needs a major overhaul.

Cottage was idd bit dated ... lots of insects inside of which you did not even know they existed.Arrival was strange ... we have been in traffic for almost 4 hours.Skey person called .. and you "smst that we later came .. No reaction. Arrived at the cottage ... no one present. Fortunately after a while an SMS "you had the key in the barn hung.No bedding available ... was indicated that bath and kitchen linen had to mee.Dus That was the one thingetje.Aa storm was all the power at the cottage ... we call again .. No reaction ... Fortunately after a half hour an SMS of what to do. Last day ... also bad weather .. .. lightning struck ... again no power.With the result that the alarm was off.We had to leave at 10.00 ... that was arranged ... at 08.45..3 cleaners at the door.We slept ... who started there a lot on the windows, doors and walls to ram.Not normal.Well well we were awake.Beetje strange way .. but goed.Verder a lot of sign to the house ... all the way in the back part of the garden.Despite everything ... had a great stay of a week.

A Chalet in a beautiful spot in the Ardennes. Chalet only needs a lot of maintenance and a good cleaning Have cleaned the bathroom and toilet before we started using it. Everything grubby. Power falls out every now and then you have to go outside to switch on the earth leakage circuit breaker. Heater cannot be set to cremate or ice cold. But despite all this, we have a great time beautiful surroundings snow. Awesome

The cottage is located fairly high, you actually have to have an SUV to get there, with our low car it was a bit scared to drive. The cottage itself is a bit dated: a refurbishment is necessary

We certainly have no problem with basic accommodation, it really doesn't have to be luxurious. But this is a shabby chalet with overdue maintenance (exterior, porch, shed on the verge of collapse). Faded glory, not Belvilla-worthy.Toilet which continues to run after flushing (has been mentioned for years in the reviews, we see now!), broken or shabby lighting in the kitchen, very bad sagging couch, shower screen creaky. Unfortunately, our dog caught fleas in no time (she really didn't have any beforehand, she gets anti-flea treatment every 4 weeks). We ourselves were covered with itchy bumps all week, which we mainly got at night: we have a strong suspicion that it was caused by bed bugs :( We went home the day before and took it for sure: our suitcases outside unpacked on the sidewalk, undressed ourselves and everything thoroughly washed and cleaned.The Ardennes were nice, the beach of Maboge is also a 10-minute walk away.But rather in another house.

WHAT A CRACK!! We have cut short our holiday early because it was just too dirty. Mold in the bathroom (entire wall above bath tap) Dirty toilet on arrival Dirty bathroom Dirty kitchen Dust wires on ceiling and in corners Dirty beds one with a mismatched mattress-Leakage gas connection outside because external gas bottles were connected to the empty gas tank with expired gas hoses-The balustrade is rotten and slippery from the moss-Canopy is really on the verge of collapsing -Shed completely rotten-There is a freezer where the thawed ice cubes are still in there and the mold is in its heyday -Washing machine was in the shed, this one too on foot to behold -Radio not found -The whole house was damp -Glass wool swirls around -When using a tap, the sewage air comes out house in pulling-Saggy bankIn short, wasted days and money!!!Our old on new is just ruined!!!

Difficult contact. Once arrived, the door was already open and were not received by anyone. Then the power went out and that is why the water stopped running a little later. No gas heating as described but only electric fires that could not heat it as it should at this time of the year, filthy coffee maker and kitchen utensils have to be washed first, mold in bathroom, toilet leaks, electricity fuse constantly cut off leaving us in the dark were and therefore without heating, under the sofa dirty and filthy, remnants of previous residents were under, the only plus was good hot water

This bungalow urgently needs maintenance! Very thin blankets and very cold. Gas heater broken so the whole bungalow has to be heated with electric heaters, for which he will be billed later! Kitchen items much broken not complete. Owner not reachable yet. Environment is very nice but I would not recommend it ....

Do not rent this house! On arrival, the house actually needed a renovation. Loose lamps, electrical wires from the wall, a broken bath screen, a poorly draining toilet. A barn that is actually about to collapse. The cottage was also barely cleaned. Junk and equipment was scattered here and there. In everything it turned out to be heavily dated. Communication with the owner was difficult. In the meantime I have contacted Belvilla: this is not a house that they would like to have in their file.

It is not a luxury home. Hostess speaks only French. House and utensils not very clean. Path to cottage narrow forest trail almost. Lots of privacy \/ garden and spacious dining room. Beds bags little.

Beautiful walks can make in the area. The cottage was poorly maintained, shabby and dirty. The (substantial) electricity contribution of 30 cents per kwh who have stood in the contract appeared to be a flat fee of 20 Euro. When the stove it stopped the owners came only after insisting look. They spoke no english was like in the description. The lighting is poor in the cottage too small to read, eg.. All in all, an environment to look back, but that does not apply to the bungalow!
