Discover this splendid detached holiday home, a haven of peace dating from the 18th century, beautifully restored. Nestling just 20 minutes from Montpellier and 40 minutes from the beaches, close to the magnificent Hérault valley, this elegant, stone-built residence boasts extensive fenced grounds and a superb private swimming pool, open onto the countryside and bordered by a beautiful wooden terrace. Tastefully decorated, the 3-storey building offers a refined atmosphere and plenty of privacy. This holiday home is ideally placed for exploring the region. The Grand Pic Saint-Loup region is a great place for hiking, and you can discover it by following the paths that make it up, for a leisurely stroll with the family or a long hike with friends, through protected natural landscapes, magical panoramas and a unique agricultural heritage based around vines and olives. Climbing, potholing, hang-gliding, horse-riding and farm visits. Everyone will come away with their own holiday souvenir. A caretaker lives on site to look after the farmhouse. He is very discreet, only comes in early in the morning, and has his own accommodation with a separate entrance.

Beautiful Provencal house in a very quiet location. Ideal for excursions. Large pool and nicely decorated.

The farm is beautiful and very clean, in the middle of the forest. A nice base for trips to, for example, Nimes, Montpellier, and the beach. There is a large hall with a ping pong table, and a lovely large saltwater pool with sun loungers and lounge chairs. Neatly clean and well maintained! The house is not suitable for less mobile people: many difficult stairs and low door frames (head often bumpedâ€¦). The three bathrooms mentioned is not correct: only if more than 6 people book is the 4th bedroom and third bathroom made available, unfortunately. The bedrooms upstairs are fine, the beds are very hard and there is no air conditioning; quite warm then. The wifi initially did not work, we had to mention this a few times before the router was placed in the windowsill from the caretaker's house and an extra box was added. The wifi worked for a good week, then it was nothing again. The caretaker lives right next to the house, he speaks English which is handy. You encounter him daily (sometimes several times), he gives clay lessons a few times a week to a group of children. Furthermore, the cottage is equipped with enough dishes and pans, there is a washing machine but the dryer is broken, luckily we had a lot of sun so we could wash and dry the towels (there is only 1 bath towel per person for the entire stay). You have to take your own garbage bags away by car, about a 10-minute drive. The nearest supermarket is in Laroque (nice route!) half an hour's drive. All in all, a beautiful location with some areas for improvement here and there.

Authentic, spacious holiday villa with great surroundings. Private pool where you can relax and enjoy. The villa is quite remote. There is no WIFI in the house or near the pool. We had a good holiday week here and can recommend this house to anyone who likes a remote, peacefull place to relax and rest.

The brochure saw the house, renovated farmhouse, fine in reality it was amazing and extremely tasteful and well cared for. Everything was provided, enough dishes and enough cutlery and linen. R nWe always have all kinds of reserves with us but that was not necessary. The special was that you could enjoy, in total silence reading and swimming and you in a typical French village with thick plane trees and a fountain you could drink coffee in about 10 minutes and you, Dutch, newspaper could read. Friendly people, very helpful. The second half of the week there was always somewhere a lively market and Montepellier was only half an hour away. A pleasant, spacious city, friendly and plenty of culture. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed. R nAll in all
