On our arrival Saturday it was a bit busy so the people at the reception quickly showed us around the house and then had to go through again. Otherwise fine. We did not know that the air conditioning had to be paid for separately. Only on Sunday we got remote controls and two air conditioners did not work. Before that, Tuesday was a mechanic and everything was repaired. Therefore they did not pass on costs for air conditioning, neatly.

He'd done it all at the recption, all friendly people, also on and around the golf course. wonderful location, beautiful view, nice pool!

reception at the reception was ok. Very friendly people, very helpful. Location of the accommodation was super. Less crowded part of Lake Garda, in the green, close to everything. The accommodation itself is worn out. It was clean, but it needs to be renovated urgently: bathrooms and kitchen need to be taken care of. kitchen not sufficiently supplied with material: not enough knives, search for a serving bowl, ... Curtains hanging there are too short, ... Our apartment was above the restaurant and one night was greatly bothered by noise, the other nights not ( maybe inform the people when they are having a party?) If the apartment is being renovated this is a winner.

Idyllic, peaceful location on the golf course, spacious apartment for Italian standards, a problem (with air conditioning) was very adequately resolved by friendly staff.

Tip from the houseowner

The archaeological and nature park in Manerba del Garda is fun to visit. It is a beautiful setting with breathtaking views. You can see the remains of city walls and on a clear day you can see Sirmione. There are remains of the fort. A visit is well worth it! www.parcoroccamanerba.net The beach Porto Torchio is a lovely place for an afternoon on the beach. There are bars and restaurants and it is clean and tidy. There are opportunities to hire sun loungers and parasols. Make an excursion to the island of San Biagio. You can take a ferry from Porto Torchio to island San Biagio. The island is a large green lawn where you can relax. Gabriele D'Annunzio's villa in Gardone Riviera is very rewarding to see (www.vittoriale.it). The villa is a beautiful place and it is very nice to see a villa of a narcissistic and eccentric man. Really nice! Â At Avanzi (www.avanzivisite.it) you can taste great wines. Register for a tour and buy nice bottles of wine for after the holidays!
