It is a very cozy house. The car is in the courtyard with a locked gate. In the kitchen everything is available from oven to dishwasher. The landlady is very friendly.

This is a nice little house by the landlord's house, cozy and well equipped for 2 people, possibly with a child. The weather here wasn't so good and it was warm and our things got dry again. In the warm season you have a sheltered seat in front of the house. The place is absolutely quiet, but there is a small shop, a bakery and a butcher.

We were kindly received by the landlady Mrs Ehrlich. We were told about the possibility to travel by bus for free. It is a fully furnished holiday home suitable for two people, but there are two single folding beds. One in the living room and one in the bedroom. So two additional persons can be added. The village of Dankerode is very small and quiet, yet all facilities such as a supermarket, bakery and butcher are present. Also two hotels, where you can easily eat for not too much money. It is a beautiful environment where you can walk. However, many hiking trails were no longer fully run due to storm damage that still had to be cleaned up. A visit to Wernigerode in particular is recommended if you like shopping and seeing old cities.

Already a year ago, but good memories, Proper house with enough room for two, three (or two adults. And two children). Lovely village with two restaurants which were unfortunately closed during our stay. Near plenty of entertainment for lovers of steam trains, beautiful old towns, nature, and a pinch of the GDR past. The setting was beautiful quiet village nature was beautiful. the other villages were still really sore from the past with their old houses etc. vakmans is for people who want to see the ancient past worth. the fam the house where we had was very friendly and always ready explanation about the environment, etc.

Very friendly owners and nice house and just what the two of us was excellent in a quiet neighborhood in a quiet village. Definitely recommended for older people with somewhat important shops within walking distance (butcher, bakery, a small grocery store, flower shop, 2 restaurants with affordable hotel very good food) and a good location for various activities. We are for the fourth time in the Harz been and there will certainly be back.
