Exactly what we were looking for. Our ideal holiday is reading a book in peace under a tree and "going somewhere for dinner in the evening. This is a very quiet place. The house is simple but offers what you need. It is clean, the lady is sweet and took us away. vegetables and fruit from your own garden. As usually in France, if you want something you take the car. That is also necessary here, luckily the motorway is close by. Day at the beach, food in Granville or Saint-Lo. Visit to the beaches of D-Day. Or just walk from home. The dog went fine. Belvilla charged service costs, which is not stated on the site. The lady did not know about that either and gave us the amount back. Very nice place. I think that people who are taller than 1.90 cannot fit in the bed We did not find any flaws mentioned in older reviews.

This place is a whole vibe! The views from the terrace are stunning and perfect for all the Insta pics, Super chill, and the fact that it used to be a bakery just adds to the charm, 10/10 would recommend for a cozy getaway!

The exit to the gite is a bit difficult to find, but if you have good road you finally arrive at a beautiful spot, with fantastic views. The welcome was very warm, with fresh flowers on the table and a spotless, comfortable cottage. The bed upstairs sleeping delicious, the armchairs are great and the cool evenings, the fire in the fireplace if ignited. Next to the house starts a downward path that will lead you along the Vire, a beautiful walk. At grasvels for the cottage we saw twice deer coming down at the fallen apples for cider. There were further three donkeys, we have not heard. It is wonderfully quiet and "night in clear weather an incredibly bright sterrenhemel.Torigny, supermarket and market day maandagse were openbaring.Ook Bayeux, the landing beaches and the port of Grandville are recommended, and walk in La Suisse Normandy . We had a great holiday!

What a charming place! We spent a lovely week at this holiday home in Guilberville, and it exceeded our expectations, The romantic terrace offered stunning views of the Normandy hinterland, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine, The interior was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, We even took a day trip to Mont-St, Michel, which was an easy drive away, Can't wait to return!

We were warmly received by Rose, the owner. Despite her poor English, it was not that difficult to communicate. In the evening she even brought a basket with all kinds of goodies from her own vegetable garden. The owners left for our holiday in our first week for 3 weeks. Rose neatly presented us with the replacement, who unfortunately did not speak a word of English. As for the wifi, the reception was poor. Because we had already read this in the reviews, we had brought our laptop and used it as a hotspot, which worked very well. Unfortunately, we had a night thunderstorm in the first week, which caused the power to go out. By calling Rose (number is in the reservation papers) it was immediately resolved. Then we discovered that the wifi no longer did, which unfortunately no longer was repaired. Furthermore, the cottage was fully equipped. And have enjoyed the fireplace. Around the house walk 3 donkeys and early in the morning you sometimes see deer in the tuin.De environment is beautiful. A bakery is about 5 km away and supermarkets such as Lidl, Aldi and Carrefour in Torigni at about 10 km, where there are also several eateries. We think the price-quality good, you can not sit for a dime on the first rank

Cottage is simple, but everything is there. The view is phenomenal. There is a lot to see in the area. For the dogs the garden was ideal. The cottage is quietly located. Hardly any traffic can be heard or seen.

Well, cottage small, problems with heating, upstairs in the bedroom, there is heating which is right next to the bed and when burning is far too hot and downstairs there is only a fireplace and it is cold in the bathroom is also no heating. The environment is super beautiful, meadows, orchards, Lots nature. The jay in view pick up the grass from the bedroom is superb, awakened by singing robins too. Nature is quite unspoilt. On Monday there is a lively market in Torigny, there are also restaurants and newsagents to buy a newspaper with which you can light the fireplace. The owners are friendly and their three donkeys are super cute.

Great, manager was present. Accommodation was very dated, tricky stairs for the elderly, especially at night, rickety kitchen. Outside otherwise fine. Unfortunately on departure at 9 in the morning we could not find the manager and we just left. She sent a check with the deposit a week later, but it is irrecoverable at my bank, hence sent back. We had already given her our IBAN number, but apparently it didn't get through or she doesn't have a computer, although she does have WiFi at home. Now wait if the deposit is deposited into the account. Very scruffy such a "check; with other banks it is collectable, but you pay 35 to 70 euros of expenses !!!

Warm welcome Pleasant and clean house. Work should be carried out, among other things, to repair the window and the handle of the broken entrance door (dangerous when you come with a dog). In addition, the photos are no longer too topical.

Had a fantastic holiday with beautiful weather. The cottage was fine just no wifi what is in the travel documents staat.Er were some flaws on the house. Coffee machine was broken, still worked but almost fell apart and light box in the kitchen was defective. Socket without cover. Owner was very nice and spoke poor English, but did her very best to make herself well understood. Overall a very nice holiday but no Wi-Fi can be mentioned because that is just not there. If those other defects are replaced, it is certainly advisable.

The cottage is in a beautiful spot in the hills and the view is great. In the meadow next to it donkeys walk and we even saw a fox walking. Very nice, but there were also negatives. Although the weather was warm, the house was very cold. This was because the house is in the shade all day and there is a cold tile floor inside. The first night shivering in bed, where you also feel the springs in the mattress. There was a thin duvet, but there was nowhere else to find an extra blanket. Because the homeowners do not speak a word (!!!) English and they do not live at the house, we could not ask for an extra blanket. We have handled the key transfer with hands and feet. Furthermore, I was sorry that the house only had a tiny boiler. You could take a shower for a while and then the hot water went up. If you want a partner afterwards, you will have to wait a long time until you have warm water again. The cottage was clean and there were sunbeds with cushions, a parasol, bbq and washing machine. What is mentioned in the description, but what is not, is the wifi. We really did not like that, because it is useful to find things you want to go to, etc. There is a drawer full of leaflets. Despite the negatives we had a nice week, but I would not recommend the cottage.

Beautiful setting in a rolling landscape. Accommodation was tiny. There was a strange smell that we could open through the windows. We have to wash the frigo completely. The whole did not offer a good impression. The bedroom is located in the roof, making it possible to stand in the middle of the room. Fortunately, it was nice weather and we ate a lot outside. Not something I would recommend. The owners were friendly.

The cottage is minimal. You have a roof over your head and a bed. The bed is very small, 140x190, which means you quickly end up with your legs hanging off the edge. The height is also minimal, just 10 cm off the ground; otherwise, you hit your head on the slanted roof. To get to the sleeping area, you have to climb a wooden ladder with a railing on one side. You can't stand upright; otherwise, you hit your head against the beams. In the kitchenette, you barely fit between the cabinets. When cooking, you are squeezed between your pot and the cabinet. Cooking is done on butane, which is very hot. This means you can't use half gas; it's either hot or nothing. The site states there is Wi-Fi, but it is NOT available. There is also poor reception with your own phone. When sitting outside, there is a lovely garden. However, you are unfortunate that there is a dog breeder located at a considerable distance across from the cottage. As a result, you are subjected to barking, howling, and even screaming from the dogs and puppies all day long. The bathroom is small, I think 1.5x1.5. The shower is fine, with nice warm water. There is also a low toilet with a sink. The living area has 2 chairs, which are also low to get up from. The TV only has French channels. If you like primitive and don't want to pay a high price, it's a fine accommodation with no luxury at all.

The cottage is very nicely situated in the middle of nature. Inside the house, the facilities are minimal. The towns in the area are nice and the sea is less than an hour's drive away.
