My wife and I together with our two kids (5 and 7) had a great stay! The house was comfortable for the four of us, and there were tons of fun things to do with the young kids within a radius of 15 to 50 minutes drive. Maboge beach, Furfooz Nature Reserve, castle visit in La Roche en ardenne, canoeing, play forest of park chlorophyll, walks along the ourthe (a great one starting basically from the house).

The owners provided some wood to make our own fire in the garden fitepit (bring your own Firestarter). We enjoyed our morning cup of coffee on the waranda in the morning sun. Shopping less than 10 min away in Bertogne).

Wed be happy to come back and enjoy the area again from the comfort of this cozy retreat in the forests!

We had a super nice holiday. The cottage is simple but we didn't need more. The fire place was very nice and the river nearby was also very nice, especially for the children: if you walk under the cottage on the small road, past the blackberries and nettles (long trousers are not a luxury ;-) ) then you come to a lovely spot where we as parents could read nicely under the trees in the shade while the children played in the river. You can hear the road well but I didn't find it very disturbing. The children slept wonderfully in the bunk bed, we a little less, the double bed was really very hard.

We received a very friendly manner by the hostess who showed us all the personal details of the chalet seen and explained. Great to here without television, people, cars' s and little electricity for several days to unwind. With us was the road closed to it because of roadworks, however, we were able to the chalet getting our car. Fantastic place to yourself just to to reset and recharge. The campfire circle was our favorite place.

Very nice quiet place. Among beautiful forests with views of the hills. Sit out on the terrace or lawn. And a little further down the path you are on the ourthe. The only drawback we found it we feel very hard bed.

together with our 4-year-old daughter stayed a mid-week in this amazing environment. cottage was top ... though limited ... but that made it all the fun. well back to basics. especially in the evening at the fire place was very passed.This is for us sure to be repeatable.We were also very kindly received by the owner.to us a successful week, in an environment where you are not bored.

Have, along with the wonderful weather, enjoyed the house and the area. Hiking, biking and in the evening around the fire pit. The cottage has what you need, no more and no less. We were 4 adults, and that has to be the real maximum.

The week vacation in this cabin gave us exactly what we wanted the middle of nature, no Internet, many opportunities for walking and cycling and a real campfire! Delicious, we will definitely come back again! For 2 people it was a great house, 3 adults could also, but more people we would not recommend. We found the cabin quite fantastic, despite little power, everything was sufficient for us, neat and clean. We are completely at rest in this fantastic wooded area, we enjoyed a couple of times and walked the area, we spent most of our time on the terrace or by the campfire. Blissful tranquility.

We just had a wonderful holiday in this chalet. It is completely free. Possibility of a campfire. It was clean and equipped with all the basic necessities. We were there with our daughter for almost 2 who enjoyed the space / garden for the cottage. There are some hellinkjes and steps, so a little you have to keep an eye on. We will be happy to come back to it.

Warm welcome from the owner. Despite the rain, our stay anyway Flanders weekend, the peace and nature finally make everything right. What a lovely house, nice and quiet on the mountain. The shower is a very dramatic downside but now it is not. The Ourthe near what a lot of entertainment can provide. Nature is very beautiful and even a beaver feels close to home! The cottage looks dark entry, but there are enough candles to make fun. The tip of the guestbook written to a bunk drop seems a very good one. Furthermore, a four burner guest couple needed instead of two burner as it is today. It's a bit of magic. In the first place, the house is in a beautiful setting. The privacy is super. It is very quiet and "morning breakfast in the sun is truly blessed. Shame you that sun after noon can not see, but which is still somewhere else. Hikers is an oasis. Directly from the house, or else from one of the lovely villages in the vicinity. Whoever wants (fly) fishing is there ample space, the Ourthe is twenty yards. The trout do generally very nice. Around cities such as La Roche, Bastogne and Houffalize highly recommended. Especially the market in Bastogne (once every two weeks on Saturday) is very nice. The same goes for the impressive caves of Hotton. That you in the house itself actually everywhere lamp need does indicate that it is somewhat dark. It also does not affect the atmosphere. Also important, the beds are good .... In short, we have our two weeks excellent vermaakt.Reinier and Sonja Black

We have just returned from a mid-week in this cozy cottage and regret that we have already had to leave. It was a clean and cozy cottage. You're really in the middle of nature and that was really a big plus for us. The walks in the neighborhood are nice, but somewhat poorly signposted. In short a great house, where we like to go further would like to come!
