We were warmly welcomed by Gerard Merci. The accomodation was beautiful and the one room was even nicer than the other room. Also lovely were the pool and the sauna. And not to mention the beautiful surroundings. Recommended!

In a splendid setting surrounded by paths along the rivers descending from the Ardennes hills, there is a centuries-old mill offering hospitality to several families seeking comfort in a rustic setting with activities for all, swimming pool, billiards, table football. or simply lazing around in a well-kept garden. The person in charge of the lodging, Mr. Gérard, is available at any time to deal with any problem that may arise. The premises are very clean but could offer some extra kitchen utensils. We spent a very pleasant week in our vaccinated bubble and PCR negative far from the hassle of COVID19.

We were kindly received by the owner, who then gave us a guided tour of all existing things. The house was in a nice area, very quiet. We have spent a lovely midweek.

The only downside was that this holiday home did not have a real living room, it was a room with a few sofas and a small TV that you can not really call a living room. Everything else was to your liking!

It is a special house with many bedrooms. Each bedroom has a bathroom. It is clear that a lot of care has gone into this, beautiful materials. The common areas, on the other hand, are very disappointing. Not a nice place to get together with a large group. Very disappointing kitchen considering the size of the house. We are somewhat disappointed in the value for money.

Very nice environment, unique location, very nice domain! We had expectations after seeing the super nice pictures on the internet. The many rooms were located on the ground floor, which is on a first level (stairs to do). many rooms, with good beds and clean linen, also plenty of towels. Also almost every room had a bathroom or 1 nearby with bath or shower. Some shower heads did not work. Between these rooms was the "living" where you unfortunately but could sit in with a few people (while the house is intended for many people) and where the "fireplace" could not be used. Upstairs was the kitchen and the dining room, which is in the style of the house, but old and worn , as well as the pots and pans. Very dirty extractor hood ... In the dining room there is room for many (3 wooden tables) and fortunately the fireplace worked there. Is of course not so cozy to sit "in the evening. a BBQ available but too dirty to In another part were 3 more rooms, swimming pool, sauna, pool table, table tennis and space upstairs with seats. Swimming pool and sauna: neat and in order, very cool for the children! Pool table: covering piece, unfortunate ... In addition, it was stated that there was wifi available, but there is nowhere coverage except outside with 4G. Finally, it was stated that energy had to be paid: no problem, we just had our do not expect such a high amount (814 euros). We have made it a super nice holiday, but we found the house price-quality certainly out of proportion, given the other gites that we have already visited. Apparently the owners would do renovations , good idea, but that was of no use to us now ...
