Cozy house with a very cozy garden with sun loungers, bbq, bowling alley and trampoline, beautiful location. Fairly close to the E25, but you will not be bothered by that at all.
Excellent beds despite the fact that they are 140 wide. The neighbor where you can go if something is wrong, speaks English. Large parking lot.
The only downside is that there are only two toilets, which was not a problem for us (we were 9 people), but if you are with 18 people, that does not seem nice.

Beautiful house with an unexpectedly nice layout. With the cozy terrace and all amenities, it is very suitable for a cozy holiday with a few families. But let me not be too positive, because soon it will be fully booked for three years and we would like to go again ourselves... ;-)

Group of 16 friends. The arrival was very cordial, we were explained how everything works and what had to be paid afterwards (the consumption costs, this was about 130 for us and less than what the owner predicted) .- Comfortable beds- Spacious dining room where you can sit together with everyone- Pleasant sitting room- there are 2 fridges (1 small and 1 size) and a freezer, this was more than enough for us- there are only 2 toilets, but this was not a problem for us- the wood-burning stove gave it an extra touch. Furthermore, it is a beautiful area.You have a stream just behind the house and spacious garden and a well-kept petanque field.In the neighborhood you have a bison farm.This is only open in the summer, but you can walk along it, this is about a 8 km walk. The unfortunate thing is that you do not have much in the area. So you can not go for a drink on your walk. Furthermore, Bastogne is nearby, with many sights And a visit to Achouffe is also worth it. In short: We have had a nice and pleasant weekend and will definitely go back.

This is a fantastic house for a large group or family. We were 11 adults and 4 children (4-9 years) but there are 18 sleeping places and a cot. The six rooms are beautiful and each room has its own shower + sink, which is very pleasant. It is a very spacious house where you do not easily get in each other's way, a separate sitting area in the open attic of the house above the living room / kitchen. The acoustics are good because many people make a lot of noise! The open kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything you need (no juicer or hand blender etc). There is a pool table which has been used extensively. Good for the atmosphere! According to the owner there is underfloor heating and there is a large wood burning stove in the living room; nice for the winter. The bedrooms have radiators. There is a garden with simple but nice wooden furniture; and a trampoline - the kids jumped on that half the time! The reception was warm, good explanation about the house, on departure we had to pay - as indicated in advance - for the tourist tax and utility use (gas, water, electricity), yet about € 175 for two days. is beautiful but also not very special (depending on experiences); there are forest / meadow walks to make. Bastogne does have a special history, partly due to the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944, the War Museum and the largest monument are therefore more then worth a visit.After that you deliberately drive through a landscape and the villages (then known from the films and texts in the museum) where the battle took place, very Bijzonder.De city, surroundings and the house are highly recommended.

We had to wait, but the owner was there quickly. We did not understand that we had to call about half an hour in advance. House was fine, good clean and good beds. The fridge was a bit small for a house with 18 people and the deposit of 500 euros we found quite high. The environment is beautiful.

The house was clean and tidy. The layout with the seating area on the 2nd floor is not very practical and in our case with elderly people with walking difficulties are even unreachable. Furthermore, 1 refrigerator is more than insufficient for a group of 18 people. The area offers little entertainment for young people, but for those who enjoy walking, it is a nice place.

As a group of friends we have been going to the Ardennes for a weekend for 15 years, each time in a different house.
This is a wonderfully quiet place, nice space for a large group. The price is on the high side, especially with the additional charge of €230 for water/electricity. The sauna turned out to be broken, the oven was falling apart from old age, and the duvets need replacing (read: lots of stains).
All in all, this house could use a makeover, but in terms of location and size it is perfect for a group.

There is a small waterfall nearby and the surroundings are beautiful giving perfect solitude. Visit Bastogne and the museum about WWII at 9 km. You might like a trip to Recogne with its buffalo farm at 4 km. Enjoy the waters at the tropical swimming pool in Houffalize at 9 km and the lake of Bavigne at 29 km.
