The welcome was very warm with even a present and flowers on the dining table. We were given a tour of the house with an explanation from Mrs Pomes. The house is really beautiful, large and the inventory is complete. The pool is great and is indeed cleaned every day early in the morning by Mr. Pomes. You have to drive a bit for the groceries. The house is somewhat remote from the civilized world.

Properly maintained property where the owner continually makes improvements. Everything was properly maintained and the welcome was blessed with a gift from the proprietor on top of it. Already our second year we come here and we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful holiday in this house. The dog enjoyed the garden and the surrounding fields. We enjoyed the pool and the many terraces around the house. We went on holiday in August, plenty of sunshine. Because of the many shady spots were sitting quite pleasant. We did a lot of trips. The neighboring village provides you with all foods. The cottage is really worth it!

The welcome was very friendly and warm, the house was more than we expected and around the house are terraces so you can always sit in the sun. The environment was quiet, but pleasant. Beautiful walks and all amenities within an acceptable distance. Swimming pool is not heated

Quiet, beautifully situated. Ideal house and garden for our dogs with a beautiful pool. By car you can visit super nice towns, castles, markets, .... Very sympathetic owners. The house was clean, and provided all the necessities. No wifi but we had consciously opted for. The last downside was, there is no air conditioning in the house so fans could come in handy. But it was also extremely hot now. Worth repeating.

What a fantastic house. Nice space and the construction is really great. Also the pool was delicious and was cleaned every day at 7:00 by the friendly homeowner. In 20 minutes, you have 2 large supermarkets (intermarche and lidl) in Fumel. Sorry for the last 2 days, with rain but that was not to be fun. Definitely recommended, what a rest there.

For the 2nd time we stayed in this holiday home (2017/2022). It went well the first time, otherwise you won't go for a second time. Extremely friendly welcome by José, he mainly speaks French and a few words of English. His daughter is fluent in English. More than enough pots of pans and knives with which you can actually cut something. The pool is great, around the pool you can lie in the sun all day long. José cleans the pool daily and does this at a time when you do not want to be awake during your holiday. We do have some comments by now: -if you are taller than 1.75 meters (I am more than 1.95 m) it is a challenge to get your head in the shower.-the beds are as you expect them in a French house, short, narrow and rock-hard.-fitted sheets have yet to be invented, you sleep on the molton.-the house is in the list as a 6 person house. However, it is more likely that you can sleep with 6 people. The house is fully furnished on the outside, if you have a few days with bad weather it is tight bivouac inside. Do not read this review as a negative, it is a super nice house in a beautiful and very quiet area. However, I would advise not to stay there with more than 4 people and to bring a fitted sheet yourself.

Unfortunately we met not with the weather, lots of rain and lots of overcast days. Shame about the beautiful pool that belonged to the house. We have benefited 3 days. Tasty loungers by the pool and even further into the garden and the house several seating areas where we therefore enjoyed little. All the more unfortunate because the furniture in the room was not good. Hard chairs at the table and the couch was of poor quality. However, there was a fire which the owner had lodged very attentive wood we burn a few evenings. The house was also very spacious and atmospheric. The kitchen had a minimal inventory, it did have liked a little more comfort. The area around the house is sublime. From all sides from the house the view is beautiful and it is very quiet. The enclosed garden was for our dog very much.

A lovely house with underfloor heating and fire-proof so the house is also enjoyable in the spring. Bathroom is a bit outdated and not suitable for tall people. The water in the pool was very cold (pool is not heated), but by the good weather we could still swim. The garden is nice to sit in and there is plenty of space for children to play. The view was beautiful and the area is very quiet. Supermarket within half an hour. We had a great week in this beautiful house.

For us the 1st time that we do not have any regret booked this house through Octopus Travel and there. In a quiet area (where we chose) we saw this perfect house with all facilities. If we have nice experience rural \/ peasant life within our reach. Beautiful excursions abound in this beautiful setting. Getting to owners went very prettig.Wij will definitely come to!

A lovely large and light house, especially the children and the dog had a lot of leeway. Despite six days of rain, we also had a wonderful holiday because to do very much in the area and to see. From the house there are beautiful walks and the lovely fireplace in the house went out the rain and cold so forgotten.

Welcolmed old country house, lovely large fenced garden and swimming pool. Every morning the pool is cleaned at dawn, beautiful surroundings, you can make beautiful walks, make beautiful trips by car, or do some shopping lovely on a market in one of the villages in the buurt.Voor daily shopping you can go in Villefranche du Perigord, for the great shopping in Fumel, at Lidl and Carrefour.
