We were warmly welcomed by the owners and immediately we were able to discover the house. House is spacious, very clean and very suitable for a hot summer. We were able to fully enjoy a very large fenced garden, ideal for children.

A charming and peaceful holiday home with a beautiful garden, We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen for our family meals and the cozy seating area, It’s a bit off the beaten path, but that just added to its charm!

Very welcoming reception, very cozy and fully furnished apartment, large nicely maintained garden, in very quiet surroundings. Surroundings attractive, at a distance from the coast. Many different seaside resorts, beautiful wide beaches. In the vicinity, two interesting castles can be visited.

A warm welcome by the neighbors (also owner). The house is very spacious and tastefully decorated with a comfortable sofa in each room. Beautiful view from the bedroom on the garden. Quiet rural hilly area. Many nice places and sights within a radius of 50 km. Ideal for those seeking tranquility.

Very kindly received. The owners are helpful without being too present. The house was neat and nice and fresh. Glad the kitchen was equipped with a good oven, I just missed a dishwasher out of habit. Beautiful and large garden, ideal for the children and cozy to sit there yourself. The kids were already fans of the house!

We were very kindly received by the owner, who immediately showed us the way. The house looks exactly like the pictures and was very comfortable. In the week we were there it was very hot for a few days, but you did not notice so much in the house. In particular the kitchen remained delicious cool. So in that regard, especially for the summer holidays, a must.In addition, there is much to see in the area and as can be read in other reviews, all within a reasonable distance. And regarding the wifi, we had no problem with it. Did it fine and was fast enough. We found the house completely furnished and have not missed anything. The owners are very nice and friendly and despite being present during our stay, we could just go our way.Very laid back and casual. We find it highly recommended if you like peace, nature and ancient culture.

Overall, a solid choice for a family vacation, The house was clean and had ample room for everyone, The only downside was the weather, which wasn't ideal for outdoor activities, but we made the most of our time indoors

Beautiful, typical Normandy holiday home situated in a quiet area from which you can visit the numerous beaches and beautiful villages. Particularly the huge difference between ebb and flood is in the immediate area. The inflatable beaches are at a driving distance without having to sit in the car for hours. The reception was very warm. Unlike previous reviews, the owners were present during our attendance, but we did not compromise privacy. A few points of attention are enough kitchenware but insufficient cleaning products. The house is cool on a summer day but also on a non summer day and it is not hot to get. There is only an electric heating in the kitchen. The free WIFI may not be called WIFI to Dutch standard, incredibly slow and often not working. And as a previous reviewer said, some sunbeds would not be in the garden. We had a great time and enjoyed the immense peace. Being in the middle of nature is especially noticeable at night, as it is a landmark and a silent silence, in the owl in the tree. The house offers a lot of space, yet it does not seem suitable for families with young children.

We were warmly welcomed by the host. Immediately received a tour and explanation about the house. The house is spacious, as is the spacious garden that you can use. The house was clean and tidy. The beds are a bit cramped. Plumbing is very outdated. Kitchen utensils minimally present. The host herself was absent during our stay, the host lady was there. She was reserved and was often and long on the phone in the evenings. When we sat outside we were obliged to listen in, a minus. You share the garden with the owner, we did not always find that pleasant. The coast is 20 kilometers away, different from what it says in the description. You also have to sit in the car for at least 45 to 60 minutes for the attractions.

A beautiful house with a large garden. In a wonderful environment to beach and landing beaches and a city like Bayeux. Owners Alex and Marlene were very nice and welcoming. During the week in Paris, but returned in time for a farewell drink with champagne.

We were this laatset week of April the first visitors of the season. The heating system consisted of a single electric heater in the (residential) kitchen, and that was the first day completely inadequate. The owner had placed first after two three electric heater and that was really needed. An additional problem was that these devices were consuming as much as the stop talked as was cooked simultaneously on the electric stove. So, if there was to be cooked, the heaters should be turned off here. All in all we still had a nice week, the area is well worth it. Yet this house really should not be hired in the spring.

House is far from civilization and facilities (eg supermarket, restaurant). The garden is large but unfortunately hardly comfortable (lying) chairs. Inside the house is spacious, but the layout is not practical and the furnishings are outdated. The beds are uncomfortable. The bathroom is small and very dated.

A week in a perfectly quiet location. Started with friendly welcome from owners and locals. Ended with tremendous chamber music concert in local church. In between we relaxed but had well positioned base to visit local towns and places of interest. Coutances just down road for excellent supermarkets and choice of restaurants. Very much enjoyed trip to Granville, including the port with good restaurants and old town on hill.

Chez Marylene is a charming and comfortable renovated house, situated on a quiet road and has a large, beautiful park-like garden. Part of the house is like second home used by the helpful owner, but this is not always present. If that is so, then you still have enough privacy. The house is spacious enough for 4 people. The description is correct on the site. What a pity we found is that the dense vegetation of the garden free view over the fields takes away the surrounding area is just very nice. If you do not like birdsong, you should not go there .... At about 2 km is a lovely village with a bakery, butcher, supermarket and tabac. Furthermore, in the vicinity plenty to explore and beaches are close by (15 km).

We had a great week at Chez Marylene. The accommodation we were fine and we enjoyed the beautiful garden. The house is beautifully situated in a very quiet omgeving.Voor two people, the house is really big. A family with two children have plenty of room. There are two double beds, one is narrow. The owner is in the same building his second home and usually lives in Paris. He makes sure you keep as much privacy as he and his wife there. They are very personable and nice. Overall a great place in the beautiful Normandy.

Une très bonne adresse dans le bocage normand. La maison, située dans un jardin admirable, est spacieuse. Tranquillité warranty pour ceux qui le calme et le repos cherchent. Les propriétaires sont avenants et sympathiques. Allez-y!

In the spring, this house is not suitable omreden that no heating is present. The number (2) movable heating was inadequate. This probeem was exacerbated to the sitting room on the first floor was located in an open loft. In other words, do not get too warm. Downstairs was stone cold. Finally, there was no manager present. During the holiday week He was the arrival at "find! Ozzi to Paris and the next week it came back on Friday.

The house is located on a quiet road just outside of St. Sauveur-Lendelin. It is relatively easy to find and on arrival the owner was already waiting for us. The reception was very warm and after a tour we could installeren.De home is pleasantly spacious. There is a full kitchen with a spacious dining and living space. Upstairs 2 bedrooms with a spacious bathroom with a shower. Both below and above there is toilet. Everything looked neat and clean uit.De house is located next to the owners, but has its own driveway, so there is plenty of privacy. The garden is very large and beautifully kept. For children, a beautiful playground. When the weather is also pleasant to sit outside and on arrival eten.De owners had already put 2 bikes ready. The third was immediately arranged that we three could go fietsen.De small groceries in St. Sauveur Lendelin can be done, but things can be extended to Coutances some 6-7 km. further away. It is a beautiful place as the starting point for exploring the Normandy coast line or a visit to several cities, eg Bayeux and Caen.Fam. Jouwsma
