Together with our 3 children we had a great week in the quiet Merlemont. The holiday home is clean, beautifully renovated with spacious rooms and bathroom and a pleasant living area and is also well equipped. The lack of a garden is compensated by the distant view from the living room and the south-facing balcony. In our opinion, this residence has an excellent price/quality ratio. In the neighborhood you can take beautiful walks such as e.g. in Nismes and Soulme. We also enjoyed our trips to the Caves of Han, Lac de l"Eau d"Heure, Dinant and the steam train in Mariembourg.Thank you to the owner Viviane for all the suggestions and the excellent service!

It was a great stay. We only saw the hostess herself when we left, but a charming friend welcomed us and showed us around the house. The house itself was very cozy, still new and very clean. The view from the kitchen is beautiful. In the house itself everything is available: brochures of sights and walks, basic facilities, enough towels, ... in short, everything to make it a wonderful holiday. We will be back for sure !!

The view from the holiday home is so beautiful. Rarely experienced a house with so many good facilities in terms of food and cooking. Everything readily available and in very good condition.

Very well received by Mrs. Viviane. The accommodation is very tastefully decorated and everything has been thought to make the guests feel comfortable. The view is also like a living painting, always different. For hiking enthusiasts, there are hiking trails near the holiday home. The villages in the area are, just like Merlemont, very authentic and picturesque. Peace and nature in abundance!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner who had turned on the heating in the rental. The property is new, nothing is missing for a good stay. You can cook there, the kitchen is very well equipped. The decor is modern. A special point for the panoramic view of the hilly landscape and at the end, France.

Completely renovated house with all necessary amenities with comfort (walk-in shower, large kitchen with everything provided, free wifi) parking near (free) very quiet village but a short distance from shops. (10-20min), to view before staying again. Activities beautifully bundled available for doing all kinds of things in the area. Excellent stay really relaxed.

Cottage is neat, spacious, well-equipped kitchen and clean! Excellent base for various trips. And also a good stay in the house. Owner very friendly, took the time to explain everything at check-in and very helpful. She even had cold wine for us and apple juice for the children. Lots of tips and information available for activities in the area. With 3 small children we missed a stair gate, but with the doors closed, this was for the most part to be solved.

Very sweet owner who gives a very detailed explanation on arrival about both the house and all activities in the area (walking routes, eateries, information about the region, ..). During your stay, questions/tips can be given by the friendly owner who lives next door. The accommodation is modern, clean and tastefully decorated. The view, which you can enjoy in both good and bad weather, makes this stay even more beautiful and unique. The only small downside is the limited size of the balcony: good to sit with z "n 5" and next to each other but little "extra space".

Ideal for a family with children and groups travelling together, there is a balcony for lingering and enjoying views and a decorative fireplace in the hallway. Your sweet cravings can be satiated and your pantry can be stocked up at Villers-le-Gambon only a short stroll away. Restaurants slightly farther will help you have your meals sorted, while wilderness beckons you to the Merlemont forest also nearby. Enjoy exploring the natural beauty of Parc Natura (Roly) at 12 km and Unlimited fun at Paintball (Givet) at 15 km. The large kitchen is equipped with a CD Player and a dining table for 6 people, so you can relish dinner comfortably while tuning in to your favourite shows. 1 pet is allowed to the property free of cost.
