Beautiful place near Volterra. The road to it is a bit rough, but with a normal car it's easy to drive. 17 min. On average. The cottages are top, simple but well equipped. On the mountain, fantastic views and always a cooling breeze. Lovely and clean swimming pool with high chairs and umbrellas. Reception was warm and extremely friendly. Signora Inghirami is very helpful and friendly as well as her husband Paul. Recommend !!!!!

Very good, good and friendly reception from the owner.Beautiful environment and very quiet, only pay attention to the unpaved roads to the residence address itself.The accommodation was very good and hygienic for us, the owners were available daily and the pool was also maintained daily .Worth repeating !

After an extraordinary ride you get on top of the mountain off at Allodola. You have on one side a view of Volterra and other side look out over the Tuscan mountains. From this place nice day trips to Volterra, Sienna, walk along the river Cecina. And relax by the pool.

A view that never bored, we look still having fun on back. The apartment was well looked after (2 bathrooms are very nice with 2 couples), not exactly luxury but much needed things are present. The apartment is part of an old farm here and there still needs to be refurbished, but that's also the charm. The pool is necessary and very fine (cleaned every day, large umbrellas, deckchairs good), because otherwise you hardly escape the heat in Tuscany often is.Ter site also beautiful birds, hares, deer (1x even just below the window "at night), pheasants and kikkers.In near all famous places to visit (Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, Florence and Volterra course), keep in mind that a single trip are 1.5 hours (Pisa / Lucca / Florence / Siena). Volterra itself is a very nice town where you can eat cheaply and very nice on warm evenings to let you wander around. And that in 20-25 minutes drive from the appartement.De unpaved road to the complex (3.5 km where you fifteen minutes to do) was an adventure every time. A 4x4 is not a luxury, though each car comes up. remember already a turn at the carwash book :-)

Spacious, quiet holiday. The friendly owners sell olive olijven.Mooie own environment. View of Volterra. The pool is cleaned every day. For small children (3 years) there is enough space to play. The long dirt road to the house guarantees silence.

Pleasant stay at rest, the beautiful pool, we had virtually alone. Mosquito nets on the windows were pleasant. The entrance (4 km of gravel road) with a sports car should probably not be covered for normal car but doable. Good value for money.

Volterra is in the heart of Tuscany with its Roman, Etruscan and medieval charm. Between 1 and 1.5 hours drive: Lucca, with its ramparts and 100 churches Siena is divided into different districts that show their history and rivalry during the Palio (July 2 and August 16) Pisa on the Square of Miracles, "Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower Florence, cradle of the Renaissance, rich museums and known treasures: Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti, the Duomo with Brunelleschi's Dome, Piazza della Signoria just as many treasures and hidden alleys. Sports and entertainment Our apartments are located in open countryside, surrounded by woods and olive groves intersected by numerous dirt roads and lanes, ideal for walking and mountain biking. We are also 1.5 hours from the Tyrrhenian sea where you can choose from several beaches, with sand, or with rocks and crystal clear water. If you like, horseback riding is also nearby. And if you just want to relax, grab a good book and lie by the pool. During the summer, in Volterra and the area there are several concerts and theater performances. The nearest airport is Pisa Volterra has a good hospital (let's hope you never need one) For your pet, we have a veterinarian if needed.
