Although 2 miles from the old town the Lopad area of Dubrovnik is a great area with a beach, shops, bars and restaurants an easy walk away, A bus stop 50 metres away makes access to the Old Town easy, The bus station by the main working port was a 30 minute walk away but taxis are available, The apartment felt spacious with a vey functional kitchen and large bathroom, The owner who lived on the ground floor was extremely friendly and helpful,

Having just returned from Dubrovnik I can honestly say the place is fantastic, clean friendly and a great place to explore, It all started with a very warm welcome by the hosts at Villa Mia, Lucy was very helpful, meeting us on arrival at 9,30 in the evening,She gave us a few tips an pointers and made us very welcome, The apartment is modern,clean and well equipped ,everything you might need is catered for, The location is great local supermarks,restaurants and bars are only a short walk away, The bus stop for travelling into the old city is on your door step, Overall great accommodation ,great hosts and a great location, Highly recommended,

The apartment is beautiful and nicely furnished but besides I would like to highlight the kindness of the owner even we stayed only one night (unfortunately), We have received a warm welcome and got a lot of useful information about Dubrovnik, I highly recommend Villa Mia for anybody who plan to visit Dubrovnik, Btw it is a must to see the old town and it has to be in your bucket list as well,

Great location: on a main junction, 8 min away by bus from the buzzing Old City, Villa Mia is surrounded by 24 hour bus/taxi, supermarket, good reasonable local eateries, beaches(private nooks and crannies nestled in the rocks by the waterside, accessible via an 'eatery' street)
Our apartment was to a very high standard: modern, clean, well stocked fresh linen &, toiletries, good wifi &, TV, fully equipped smart kitchen plus some basic kitchen ingredients, We had a small balcony that was sufficient for our use,
I would rate this better than just 'standard',
Lusy is very bubbly and extremely helpful with local info, She is close at hand but out of sight until you need her, The luxury holiday touches of a welcome bowl of chocolates, Ozujsko on a hot day and also of grapes from her mother's garden were a very hospitable touch,
I would certainly recommend Villa Mia for comfort, quality and location,

Used apartment 2a as our base for the last few days of our Croatian holiday, Lusy was very welcoming and hospitable even though we arrived early, She took the time to explain the apartment amenities and also bus routes into Dubrovnik itself and good local restaurants and beaches, This proved very helpful to find our feet in the local area, The accommodation was very clean and, although small, it was as expected from the photos, We were provided with plenty of fluffy towels and the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable, Lapad is an area outside Dubrovnik, about a 10 min bus ride away and this proved a great base as Lusy explained parking and driving into the old town wasn't advisable, We choose to dine locally on most days and the range and quality of local restaurants was very good, Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Lusy's apartment and thank her for her hospitality,

This was a great place to stay in a convenient location 2km from the bus/ferry terminal (though it is uphill from there which is difficult with heavy luggage!), The host Lusy was very friendly and helpful and gave me some of her homemade orange-sugar-coated sweets, It was conveniently located about 25-30mins walk from Pile,

This is a great apartment and great location, Lussy is such a nice host - she left some fruit in the fridge for us and when we arrived early she let us leave the luggage wit her and she left in the apartment for us later on, She was easy to get in touch with and very friendly , Will definitely stay here again!

The apartment was very clean with excellent facilities, I was able to park onsite, to get into Dubrovnik it's a 15kn bus ride or a 35 minute walk, You can access the beaches of Lapad easily via the pedestrianised walk where there are restaurants and bars, I would recommend eating in the old town,

We stayed at Villa Mia for Christmas and it was delightful, The owners are very nice and friendly people - they even brought us a plate of baked goods and oranges from their garden, The location is quite central for the old city and is more or less about a 20 minute walk from everything, The room was the perfect size for two people and very comfortable,

Villa Mia - Double Room
Villa Mia is located in Dubrovnik, less than 10 minutes drive from the Old Town and 7 minutes walk from beautiful Lapad Bay.
Luggage storage is possible prior check in and after check out , so you can explore the city a little more before your departure.
Free public parking is possible on site (reservation is needed).
This lovely double room can accommodate up to two persons.
It features double bed, air-conditioning, cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Private bathroom comes with shower.

Bounded by the forested Petka hills on one side and the crest of Babin Kuk on the other, Lapad Bay is a busy string of pebble beaches, beachfront hotels and promenades. There are plenty of diversions here, both in and out of the water, including a kids playgrounds and lots of cafes and bars.
The part of the town, where this apartments are located, is very popular because everything you may need is near the accommodation and guests can reach Old Town in less then 10 minutes drive or 25 minutes walk. Grocery store, bus station, restaurants, bars and cafes can be found in 200 meters range, as well as bakeries and ATMs. Nearest beach is 7 minutes walk from the apartment.
Dubrovnik Airport is 22 km away.
