This beautiful, newly built holiday home is situated just outside the centre of the ProvenÃ§al village of SÃ©rignan-du- Comtat (0.5 km). The house is surrounded by a stunning, well-maintained, enclosed garden with a variety of terraces alongside it and wonderful, tucked-away places to sit and daydream under the trees. In front of the house, you'll find your own private swimming pool - great for a refreshing dip! The modern kitchen offers direct access to the lovely, covered terrace, where you can spend your evenings enjoying the delicious local produce that you will be cooking on the BBQ or the 'plancha'.

You are within an hour of the many tourist sights of the departements of Gard, ArdÃ¨che and the DrÃ´me. Some interesting sights to visit include the amphitheatre in Orange (9 km), the medieval town of Vaison-la-Romaine (28 km) and the famous Gorges de l'ArdÃ¨che (roughly 50 km) with its charming little beaches and canoe hire.

SÃ©rignan-du-Comtat is located in the Vaucluse region, which is well known for its quaint wine villages such as Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Rasteau (15 km). A ride along these wine villages is breathtaking and absolutely worth the time. Should the kids get a little bored of touring the villages, you can always take them to the crocodile park in Pierrelatte (34 km) and to the ChÃ¢teau du Cirque park in Piolenc. Here they can see the preparations of the circus acts of the National Circus Alexis Gruss.

The address is easy to find with a GPS, but the houses in the district all have the same number. Thanks to the photos on the site, we found the rented house and the owners were waiting for us and gave us a warm welcome / tour.It is the house of the couple themselves that they rent during the holidays for a couple of weeks. makes the reception very personal (home made jam, wine, water and melon were ready for us) and that there is a lot of material in the house.Er was enough cooking equipment (peeler, shelves, sharp knife, ...), much plates and glasses ... The house was hygienic, the beds were good, sheets fresh.Every room was also decorated in a very personal way and the Provencal scents were clearly noticeable in the bathroom and toilets.The towels were soft and fresh. wife of the house also had hand soaps, toilet paper and cubes for the dishwasher.This is very vriendelijk.De fridge was indeed in a separate room where it in the morning was warmer, but we have no smell established. can leave a window open for airing. There is air conditioning in 1 bedroom and the living room. The air conditioning in the bedroom is not silent, but regulates the temperature well. In the cozy garden there are several terraces so you can choose between a sunny or shady spot. If you like to swim laps, the pool is less suitable. For that it is just a bit too small. If you use it to refresh yourself or for water fun (we were two adults and two teenagers) it is very suitable (in the middle the pool is deep enough to dive). The village is small but charming. The bakers can be reached on foot via a road in the district (with a nice view of the Ventoux), there is a nice chocolate shop and pizzeria. We were very kindly received by the owners of the house. Explanation in French is not always easy. The owners left behind delicious local produce. Very thoughtful. The garden and swimming pool are beautifully landscaped. Kitchen inventory is good but an additional cutting board would be handy. I also have a few downsides Address is not correct and there is no restaurant at 200m. There is only air conditioning in the master bedroom and not for the rest. For me, the house should be a little cleaner and I miss the fridge in the kitchen. It is in the utility room where it is quite a gasoline. Orange is nearby and there are also great supermarkets. The village of Chateau Neuf de Papes is highly recommended.

Very nice French-speaking owners who rent their (so-called) own house. Well appointed home with all the comforts, except air conditioning in the house (master bedroom only). It is therefore warm in the house and warm in the other 2 bedrooms. The address given is incorrect. 2 bakers in the village (who were unfortunately on vacation), Serignan does have restaurants. Orange (9KM) has everything, sights, restaurants, markets, supermarkets and bakers. Small note, 1 bath towel p.p. and little kitchen linen, long hand soap can all be a little more.

We were kindly received and received an extensive tour of the proud owners. It is a great house that is fully equipped. The outdoor area is nice, the pool great and although the house is in a residential area, it is very quiet and you have all the privacy. The surroundings of SÃ©rignan-du-Comtat are beautiful with beautiful villages a few kilometers away and many walking and cycling opportunities. There is little to experience in the village itself, no cafÃ© or restaurant of any significance.
