Beautiful apartment, friendly owners. Beautiful surroundings for day trips. Bit of a shame about railway, especially many goods trains in the evenings ... No disruption, but still.All in all a nice place to celebrate your holiday !!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Clean and neat house with use of all facilities, such as swimming pool, washing machine, wifi, etc. Environment is beautiful with beautiful views of Cortona .Erg friendly and helpful owner. So we had a nice stay and would definitely like to come back again.

Beautifully landscaped complex. Near Cortona located in the flat valley. Please note that Camucia is within walking distance, but this is a little interesting place, Cortona itself is gorgeous but sits atop a steep mound and that is a very long walk! There are nicer areas in Tuscany but excellent for day trips to Siena, Perugia, Mortone, Assisi, etc. Cottage basic but clean and spacious for a very reasonable price. Keep in mind that additional costs of energy, linens, cleaning and taxes. Fine pool. Ideal for family with small children. Nice and helpful owner.

It was a bit unclear where we had to report. The owner just walks around, talked to us and we could get to our apartment. That says a lot about the atmosphere, it is very pleasant and you can fine go your own way. There are bbq that you can use, there's a hammock where you can lie in. The pool is lovely and quiet, there are plenty of chairs and there is plenty of room. The view is beautiful on the town of Cortona. The camucia station is five minutes walk. There are several supermarkets nearby. The house is nice, nice and cool and spacious. Two bathrooms, the shower is good. The beds are good. The kitchen is well enough to cook but it is small and there is no abundance of good knives etc. Outside each has its own garden, in cipresse is gravel, which was a pity. The other gardens have moss. On the other side of the apartment you can sit, which was a fine place. We have had a great holiday, despite our children had no friends. You have to take it with you because there are not many other guests. But the hammock, lawn and pool offer plenty of entertainment. In the vicinity are Perugia, Cortona and Montepulciano definitely worth a visit!

It is enjoyable at Il Borgo's swimming pool. There is always a moment of day that you have the whole swimming pool for your family alone. It was harder to find a good swimming spot at Lake Trasimeno. The supermarket is a 5-minute drive away. Baker and butcher are within walking distance. The agriturismo is well looked after. The administrator is poorly understood. Our cottage was spacious and the shutters kept the sun out. Outside we had a nice, covered terrace but not much privacy.

We did not get the impression we were expected, it had to be discussed which accommodation was reserved for us. When this was known, cleaning materials appeared to be in the apartment. Kitchen and sanitary facilities are outdated and reasonably clean, you expect for € 75, - mandatory final cleaning a cleaner home. The surroundings are super beautiful, view of Cortona and the pool was fine. The owner speaks very poor English but you can call his son in Rome who speaks perfect English and then passes your question to his father.

Last year we were here on vacation and it was like us fine. Three other families (from the Netherlands, Belgium and England) who were there last year had decided there to also come back this year. This says a lot to me. There are a limited number (8) houses. The property is just outside of Camucia. spacious, immaculate mockery within 10 minutes via a tunnel under the railway to Camucia The cottages are spacious. Do not expect luxury resort, but the decor is good. Each cottage has a private garden set on the pool side, often also an extra table and chairs at the front. In the pool are plenty of loungers and the garden around the pool offers enough space to lie in the sun or shade. Beautiful location with a beautiful garden with pool. We had from our bedroom through the open window "in the evening a beautiful view of the illuminated spot Cortona. The house is located in Camucia from here you are with the car in 10 minutes in Cortona. If you like walking you walk in 40 minutes above. Camucia a station from which you can easily visit many places in italy. Ideal for visiting Florance of Rome. By car you are within 45 minutes Siena or Assisi. Within 30 minutes j

Nice accommodation in a nice area with nice pool. Excellent beds !!! Very small kitchen with refrigerator ditto. And the shower was not really great. Owner had done a nice dinner together one evening for all homes (8). Ideal location for cycling, but also only half an hour by train in Rome!

the cottage is in typical Tuscan style and certainly has charm. The kitchen is equipped basic (no coffee!) But is sufficient. Watch out for the mosquitoes "evening. They do not come inside but on your terrace they eat you! The owner comes every day along and there should you ask anything. He dissolves immediately. Pool is superb and each cottage has a place in the garden. You are separated from your neighbors by some plants. environment is superb. Cortona is beautiful and you can also easily take the train to Rome at 2:30. Il Borgo itself is filled with olive trees and a small vineyard.'s Chianti the owner is also highly recommended) There is a supermarket in the village (1 km) that really has everything. Both in Cortona as Camuchia there are enough restaurants.

Borgo di Cortona us pretty disappointing in terms of accommodation. In terms of funding, it is the grand prize. A shabby decor and little privacy. We have been in Tuscany agriturismo lodgings that cost less and many more luxury and privacy brought. Einige The advantage is that this property is close to the beautiful Cortona (certainly not close, only easily accessible by car) and is reasonably close to other beautiful towns in Tuscany and Umbria. For us, certainly no accommodation to come back.

Tip from the houseowner
Cortona is a beautiful city. Stroll through the narrow and steep streets and alleys. There are many historic buildings, including the Basilica di Santa Margherita, the Diocesan Museum, Etruscan museum and the Duomo.
From Fortezza di Girifalco you have a beautiful view of the valley on a clear day.
You can also do a wine tour and tasting. In Tuscany you can find very good wines.
