Not far away (approx. 12km) you find the stairs Hakalletrappa with its first 600 hundred steps built with the help of Sherpas to the first viewpoint. The stairs will be extended to 2,000 steps towards the top Kragsethornet (458 m.a.s.l.) with panoramic views. An hour's drive away is the art nouveau city of Ålesund, known for the Aksla viewpoint, the Atlanterhavsparken aquarium and many shops and eateries. The bird mountain Runde is also a popular destination.
