The boat is located at the floating dock in the marina, 3.5 km from the house. NB: To be assured of a boat, it must be booked at the same time as the holiday home. A fish cleaning table comes with running water. You can rent an extra freezer onsite , NOK 300 pr week 2025. This holiday cottage sits right on the water front by the small town of Sandsletta, on the west side of the island Austvågøya. The landscape is open and sunny and gives a panoramic view of the sea and the mountains. Enjoy sunsets from the terrace. It's especially delightful to sit on the rocks outside the cottage and listen to the waves hitting the beach. During bright spring and summer nights, the landscape will be colored red by the midnight sun. The shallow bay below the house has a narrow stray where the sea water enters. You can catch both salmon and trout in this bay. A motor boat is included and is tied up right by the house. The area has several fishing lakes. The flat landscape is perfect for biking and hiking. 10 km to the foodstore in the fishing village Laukvik. Here you may also walk along the great pier protecting the harbor from stormy weather, and enjoy the fresh and salty sea air from the open ocean. On stormy days, the great weaves hitting the pier are impressive to look at. The town Sand further north has idyllic sandy beaches. The house is a perfect starting point for driving around Lofoten. 25 km to Svolvær, the centre of Lofoten with its shops, restaurants and airport. 30 km to Kabelvåg, where you can have a close up experience with live fish at the town's aquarium. Cozy cottage in quiet and sunny surroundings by the fish-rich Rystraumen on Kvaløya, 30 km west of Tromsø. Magnificent views from the cottage and terrace towards the sea and the beautiful landscape. In autumn and winter, the northern lights can be experienced in all shades of color in the sky on days and nights with good weather. The cottage has 2 levels, where the living room is on the lower level while the kitchen is on a slightly higher level. 2 bedrooms, one with a 1.20 m wide bed, the other with a single bed. It is 70 m from the car park in summer and winter, with a footpath to the cottage. Final cleaning is not included and can be agreed with the owner upon arrival. Very good sea fishing in the strait below the cottage, and here you can fish with a rod from shore. Great hiking areas, an ideal starting point for day trips by car to Sommarøya on the west side of Kvaløya. Here you can walk in the beautiful coastal landscape with idyllic sandy beaches, enjoy the fresh sea air and the midnight sun. From here you can take a car ferry to the island of Senja and invite you to a great round trip by following the main road E6 back. Visit the Polarzoo zoo where animals such as reindeer, wolves, bears and many more can be experienced up close. From Senja you can take a ferry to Andøya, where whale watching is an exciting experience. 25 km to the airport, 30 km to Tromsø city with many shops and restaurants. The city has been the starting point for many polar expeditions to the Arctic Ocean throughout history and in the city's museums you can study photos, history and objects from this time.

Ground floor with hallway, bathroom, washing room, and two bedrooms. On the first floor, there is big living room, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom. Both bathrooms have heated floors.
