From here there is a car ferry in the summer to Andenes, with the option of whale watching by boat out to sea. From Tromsø you can also reach Skjervøy by boat for whale watching. Experiencing the big whales up close is a great experience for the whole family. 4 km to the village center with colonial shop, cafes, pharmacy, liquor store etc. 80 km to Tromsø.
