Welcome to a fantastically nice, sunny and unique accommodation on Tjärnö, an island just south of Strömstad. Here you live with a lovely sea view, swimming and jetty just a few meters away in a calm and pleasant environment with the forests near the beach, forest animals and birdsong around the corner. From the jetty you can enjoy sun and swimming but also all kinds of boats, the inner fairway towards Strömstad goes right outside. The cabin is also perfect for those of you who want to go out with your own kayak, there are many fine paddling routes in the area. The area has several islands with varied possibilities, including the Daftö resort with its large amusement park for children, pool area, swimming beaches, restaurants, service shop, etc. Saltö and Öddö are a few other islands in the area, there are plenty of easily ramped paths that run criss-cross across these islands. Here you can wander around in everything from straight-stemmed pine forest and sandy beaches to weather-exposed rock outcrops and cobblestone fields, the islands have several nature reserves and also a national park, Kosterhavets national park, one of Sweden's most species-rich areas. Welcome to an incredibly beautiful cottage built in 2023 with very nice interior with only 500m down to the sea. The house is elevated in a quiet environment with trees and forest and other cottages around. The terrace goes pleasantly around the house where you can follow all the sun's positions. The lovely little seating area outside the entrance invites you to a cup of coffee and a nice morning. You are then welcomed into a bright house. The kitchen is directly to the left with lots of light and open up to the ceiling with spotlighting. Everything is very tasteful and pleasant. In the kitchen there is nothing missing and it is integrated with the living room. From here you also reach a patio door out the back but barbecue and outdoor furniture. Dining table for 4 people is provided along with a sofa and TV. Inside is the house's bathroom which is also bright with shower cabin, toilet and sink. Next door is one bedroom with a double bed of 160 cm. Here, too, everything very pleasant. The stairs up are led by an oar as a stair railing, which says part of the wonderful sea feeling on the west coast. Then you are up in the sleeping loft with 180 in ceiling height. Up here are two comfortable beds 120 cm wide. Perfect for family or groups of 2-4 people who appreciate both the rural environment and the proximity to the sea. You live very idyllically in a scenic environment and on the slope down to the right there is a larger bathing area with jetties, rocks, grass and sand. Welcome to a charming and pleasant cabin in a calm and peaceful environment where from the cabin and its balconies between the trees of the forest you have a view of part of the Kornsjöarna, a lake system that goes all the way into Norway and offers about 30 km of paddling with just two short lifts. The lakes are beautiful and rich in islands and skerries. In the other direction, the lake merges into Kynne älv, a river that ends in a fine waterfall and further into the mile-long Bullaresjöarna with its many fine swimming spots, e.g. Sundshult. The cabin is a perfect starting point for those who want to experience animals and nature, paddle, hike, cycle, rock climb, pick berries and mushrooms or go fishing (NOTE: Fishing license required). In the immediate area there is the possibility to rent canoes or you can bring your own canoe, kayak or bicycle. The area is known for its nature and wilderness experiences, there is plenty of both untouched nature and rich wildlife, don't forget your camera! In the forests, both wild animals and birds roam and you might get the chance to catch a glimpse of a moose. In late summer, there are both berries and mushrooms in the forests, for example the 35-mile-long Bohusleden hiking trail passes through the area, but you can find information about it online. The cabin is nicely located on a forest slope that faces down to the lake, via one of the cabin's balconies you reach the cabin's entrance and further into a welcoming hall. In the open kitchen there is a stove, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker, in the living room there is dining room furniture, TV, a warming wood stove and sofa bed. The river above the falls forms the very border between Sweden and Norway. Visit the moose park in Dals Ed or take a trip across the border to Norway and Halden for a visit to Fredriksten's fortress or why not to Strömstad, a city by the sea with a large selection of activities during the summer, rich restaurant life, pleasant shopping in small shops that are close each other and if you feel like a salty, cooling dip in the summer heat, it's a short distance to the sea, cliffs and swimming, feel free to take one of the bathing boats out to one of the islands in the Strömstad archipelago. From Strömstad, there is also a ferry to the Koster Islands, Sweden's westernmost islands with a resident population. Near the cabin you will also find the Åmål ski center, which offers both cross-country and downhill skiing. Good to know: Firewood is not included. Can be bought at the nearest grocery store.

Via a slightly steeper staircase you reach the house's spacious loft where there are 2 single beds 80 cm. Inside there is a toilet and sink in the private bathroom, but the shower is outside directly adjacent to the house. A large glassed-in terrace with both a dining table and chairs and armchairs to sit in. Here you have a wonderful view of the sea and the terrace has sliding doors so the contact with the "outdoors" is magical. On the plot there is a guest cabin with a bunk bed. Here you can either spread out the lower bed to 140cm or choose to sleep on each floor. There is also a small kitchenette but no water. Outside there is a small playhouse with toys for the children and there are life jackets for everyone. The house includes a boat so you can go out into the Hakefjord to fish or discover a new beach. Youth groups cannot book this accommodation, but at least one guardian must be present during the entire stay. On the plot is a robotic lawnmower. Make sure there is no things outside for it to chew on and please do not touch. The house offers three parking spaces that are marked out. A well-stocked grocery store can be found in Myggenäs, 1 km. A small service shop and pizzeria are also nearby and it is close to services and entertainment in Stenungsund with a large shopping center and also to Skärhamn with the well-known Watercolor Museum of Nordic contemporary art.
