The cabin is located near Hedekas, which is located on the edge of Kynnefjäll, which is an approximately 20 km long and 10 km wide high plateau in northern Bohuslän. The plateau stretches between the Bullaresjöarna rift valley in the west and the Örekilsälven valley in the east, with Kornsjöarna as the northern outpost on the border with Norway. The area offers beautiful hiking in a distinctive landscape. Here you will find both a unique flora and fauna as well as mushrooms and berries. Several nice lakes for swimming, fishing or canoe/kayak trips are in the area, several have launching ramps, there is plenty of space at the cabin for those of you who want to bring your own canoe/kayak.
