This is a log cabin located a stone's throw from Hörviken where you can swim in this beautiful area called Kållandsö with the well-known Läckö Castle and visit Hindens Reef. The cottage is called Klockrike and is located in a rural idyll on a family farm. The house is small but smartly planned and has a large family room as a social area. The balcony outside has outdoor furniture and is the perfect place to have your first cup of coffee of the day. The second veranda is perfect for enjoying the evening sun. From the balcony you come straight into the large living room, which is reminiscent of a classic log cabin in the mountains with nice furnishings. The bathroom is directly to the left with a shower cubicle, wc and sink. You will find a washing machine in the basement. The kitchen area is smaller but has most of what you might need. Next to the kitchen is a small bedroom with a built-in bunk bed with a wider lower bed of 120 cm and upper bed 80 cm wide. The loft loves children and is cozy and a good crawl-in for those of you traveling with children/young people. Along one wall there is a ladder that leads you to the sleeping loft with a pitched roof. Up here are bed mattresses that are welcome to be used. In the living room there is a fireplace with two comfortable armchairs, a sofa and a TV. There is a sofa bed 160 cm wide as a complement. The water for the house is called "Vänervatten" and is perfectly drinkable. In the kitchen there is a jug with a water filter in it. The water is clear and nice, but if you want, you can get water to fill up in a can at Hörviken, down by the marina, or buy water in a store. The water can of course be used for cooking, showering and washing oneself in. The homeowners' own cottage "Skogshyddan" is located closest to the neighboring plot. A rowing boat and two kayaks can be rented at the bottom of Hörviken - shared with guests in the other houses - rented for a price per day per boat/kayak. In Hörvikens Marina you can listen to live music and eat good food, buy ice cream and swim during the summer. Behind the red entrance door is a bright, spacious hall. Directly to the left is the kitchen, which has everything you could need, including a nice old iron stove. Next to this is the house's fine room with a tiled stove. To the right of the entrance is a small sleeping alcove. Next to the sleeping alcove is the house's bathroom with wc, sink, shower cubicle and washing machine. The stairs up lead to the upper floor. There is a large common room with TV and comfortable sofas and armchairs. The room is divided by the stairs and behind it is a double bed 180 cm wide. The room inside is the house's last bedroom with two single beds 90 cm wide and an older junior bed. The water for the house is called "Vänervatten" and is perfectly drinkable. Here you live in very beautiful nature, in a quiet cottage area, at the end of the street that borders the forest and the path down to swimming in beautiful Lake Vänern. The cottage was built during the 1970s and there have been ongoing renovations with replacement of fridge / freezer with new floors indoors and where most things are in the 70s style. The kitchen has an open floor plan with dining area for 6 people and a wood burning stove next door. The living room has plenty of seating and a large window with lovely light from the patio. To the right of the entrance is a small corridor. The first room on the right is the bathroom with shower / toilet. The room opposite is a smaller bedroom with a bed 120 cm wide. Adjacent is the master bedroom with a double bed 180 cm and further in there is a bedroom with a bunk bed 80cm wide. Behind the house there is a furnished Friggebod / Guest house with 2 single beds, a small TV and its own small terrace. The house is located in a quiet cottage area with the forest next door. Between the cottage and the white house opposite, a path goes down to the cottage area's bathing area. It takes about 10 minutes to walk there. There is a bathing jetty, a small sandy beach and the possibility of grilling. Take the opportunity to make an excursion to Läckö Castle.
