Well-equipped chalet with beautiful views. Beautiful walks from the cottage, especially the trip to the Wangenitzsee. Very friendly reception on arrival. It was already 6 pm when we arrived and cool with regen. de chalet.ik definitely recommend this chalet, very well located for a trip to the grossglockner.de cozy city of Lienz is also close by.

A beautiful hut with a great view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. The equipment is great. Our dog has also filled up in the fenced property. The right place to slow down - we didn't miss WiFi and TV. There are also beautiful localities in the vicinity. We were particularly pleased with the lovely welcome from the landlady.

Monika, the landlady has picked us up, showed us all the important things in the hut and explained, sweetened our arrival with chocolate and gave us great tips for hiking. The cottage itself is practically furnished, the stove in the kitchen a miracle of heating power - he has made the evenings really cuddly and the Hohe Tauern are an impressive landscape, with many well-marked hiking trails. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the peace very much.

On arrival we were received very warmly by Monika. Also during our stay she was always available for tips. Really a super hostess! The house was very clean and tidy, sufficient kitchen inventory and also a BBQ is available. Actually the only thing we missed in the house are carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. Something that is missing in many foreign holiday homes and that surprises us every year. The location of the house is very nice, the road to it is easily accessible. From the balcony and the terrace you will be treated to fantastic views. There are plenty of well-signposted walks in the area and the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse is quickly accessible and definitely recommended. We have had such a good time in this house that we (completely against our habit) go back to this destination again, and have already booked for next year immediately after returning home

After a long drive we were welcomed warmly by the very friendly and nice Monika.Das House is a traditional-style mountain hut, made entirely of wood, rustic and cozy with a soapstone stove, which creates in cool weather a pleasant warmth. We immediately felt very comfortable there. The landscape and the mountains, you can each of the rest from everyday stress studied, highly recommend. Also for our two dogs, it was an eventful week. We'll be back.

If you like a simple cottage with all the necessary amenities in the mountains, you'll love this. Keep in mind that you have to go up quite a bit of a mountain road (last part even an unpaved road) to get to the house, but then you also have a beautiful view.

We had a great holiday, you can go by car to the front door. Our dog was able to completely move freely, not thinking you have to do it somewhere a loophole is. You simply drive in and makes goal. Done! It is super quiet and totally relaxing, morning sun at breakfast and evening sun at dinner. Cows that are right on the fence and be petted it. If it is too cold Nightime is the fireplace anschürren and it is quite fast warm. The bathroom is very nice and we always had really hot water. The kitchen is well equipped, I missed nothing. You can directly from the house and walks through start, or you can take a piece anywhere. To Grossglockner High Alpine Road you drive just 15 km. Total super, and from there you have all the possibilities. Also from the house into the valley we walked, because there is a footpath, which is indeed to run some little steep but beautiful, Ca ran 1 std down, up it takes a little longer. -) A dream vacation! Starting on a farm shop opposite our valley was the friendly landlady a fantastic view from the house in the mountains and a supermarket (meat, own slaughter) this holiday a round experience. In addition to our natural enthusiasm we are always interested in good food. And the most important thing, our dogs were seemingly impressed by the excursions as Groppensteinschlucht or Gamsbergenweg, Franz-Josef-height, etc. Just the thing if you want to strengthen the bond with the dog. We were with 2 Rhodesian Ridgeback there. At the house we liked that it is newly decorated and very easy to maintain, which is also important with dogs. Have breakfast in the sun in the garden was a highlight that we did not want to miss and time the cows from the neighboring pasture to come to watch. Pure nature.

We, my husband, myself and our dog had a great holiday week. We enjoyed the absolute peace. DC in place we could start our walks, the surroundings and the mountains are beautiful! The cottage is perfectly and ideally through the fence of the property for dog owners. We will definitely spend our vacation there again!

We spent 2 weeks in August in relatively bad weather spent in this house. On the mountain it was snowing while less often rained. It was the worst weather in 25 years and not representative of the region. The cottage was very clean and tidy. The kitchen is limited and does not have a hood. However, in a separate room a small oven has placed well taken care of. Sandwiches and dinners The beds are very good and extra long (fine as you are above 2 meters). There is no bank is present, but a kind kitchen. The balconies are also very nice because you can sit outside. Still in the rain The view is very mooi.In the vicinity start walking. If you want to go somewhere (good acting by the Kärntner carte, first rate, 100 outings) you have to take into account travel time. There is no direct highway (and you're obviously on a mountain). To get there you have a small, but not scary, road that ends in a dirt lot (last 400 meters). Doable. We definitely consider to come again.

Nice house in a prime location. Great find with TomTom and not scary to drive to. Up or down will cost you about 10 minutes, the last 400 meters are unpaved but pretty good to drive. The cottage is truly a beautiful location with a great view from the balcony. For the true seeker. The cottage itself the living area is not too big (but that is also seen in the picture 's). The only real downside is that you do not have a hood. This is self-catering, although possible, but you have all the odors for a time in your living room and adjacent bedroom. Chalet in Mörtschach near Ski Slopes
This beautiful authentic wooden chalet for a maximum of 5 people is located in Mörtschach in Carinthia, high above the Mölltall, at an altitude of 1300 meters and offers a fantastic view!
The chalet is very quietly located on the edge of the forest and has a cozy living/dining room with dining table, a small, well-equipped kitchen (with refrigerator, mini-oven and microwave), 2 bedrooms (one of which has an extra folding bed), a modern bathroom, balcony and garden with garden furniture. You can park directly at the chalet.
The countless different hiking trails in this hiking area, which extend to an altitude of over 2500 meters, begin directly in front of the chalet. Directly from the town you can reach the Astental, which is perfect for various leisure activities such as hiking, mountaineering or mountain biking. In winter, Mörtschach is an ideal starting point for ski days in Heiligenblut, on the Mölltal Glacier or in the Lienz Dolomites.
The small national park community of Mörtschach in the Astental is a very idyllic mountain village and, due to its central location between the three-thousanders of the Schober Group and the proximity to the Großglockner, is an ideal starting point for demanding climbing tours and various hiking and cycling routes.
In summer, the Tauernbad in Mallnitz, the Oberdrauburg adventure swimming pool or the outdoor adventure pool in Winklern offer lots of swimming fun!
