Positive: The house has plenty of space and was mostly clean, the kitchen is well equipped. However, there is only a pod machine for coffee. The beds are very comfortable. The house is in a quiet location at the edge of the field. You can sit well on the front terrace. Negative: The owner seems to have not been there for a while, as there are some points of criticism. In the showers, the water only comes out in drops. In the small shower room, the water distribution is only covered by a curtain. This could be solved differently. In the toilet on the ground floor, the toilet seat is broken (probably for a while). Unfortunately, the outdoor area looks a bit unkempt. For example, at the second table, the top (granite) is broken. The large grill can only be used as a fire pit since the grill grate was dirty. Thanks to the previous guests who bought a small grill and left it there. The pond and the chill area were very unkempt. There is no outdoor lighting for the terrace. Conclusion: Nevertheless, we had a nice vacation there, as we were out and about during the day.

Our stay in the holiday home was unfortunately marked by numerous deficiencies that were not apparent on the website. The published images convey a significantly better impression than what the property actually offers. The house overall appears to be in urgent need of renovation and has clearly seen better days. Condition and safety of the furnishings Several sockets were improperly installed, hanging loose in the wall and causing sparks when connecting devices â€“ a significant safety risk. The stove only worked intermittently and turned off spontaneously during use. Proper installation does not seem to be in place. The fireplace in the living area is not to be used according to a notice. The air conditioning was very loud and urgently needs maintenance. The flooring appears to have been improperly laid. The floorboards have shifted so much in places that wide gaps have formed. Some blinds were defective or only poorly repaired. Instead of being repaired, a notice was simply placed stating that they should no longer be operated. Some windows were in need of renovation. One window on the upper floor almost came completely off when opened â€“ a clear indication of lack of maintenance. In some cases, the window seals were coming loose. Furnishings One bed in the bedroom was positioned under a window and had apparently suffered moisture damage at some point. In the bedroom, one drawer of a cabinet was missing its bottom. The entire cabinet was in a heavily worn condition and should be replaced. The bed linens were available but were partially torn and clearly aged. Sanitary areas The toilet seat in the lower bathroom was heavily damaged, with the coating already peeling off â€“ hygienically questionable. The upper bathroom likely had a previous water damage, which was noticeable through significant stains on the living room ceiling below. The second "bathroom" turned out to be a heating room with a shower and sink, surrounded by various boilers. The room had a consistently unpleasant and musty smell. Kitchen Upon our arrival, the kitchen only had pans with damaged and peeling coatings. After reporting the deficiency, new pans were provided to us. The shower drain in the main bathroom was also clogged. This issue was resolved after we reported it. The kitchen equipment was overall inadequate and heavily worn. This included chipped plates, damaged cutting boards, bowls, and glasses. Outdoor area The terrace with seating area and pond was in a clearly dilapidated condition. All tables in the outdoor area were damaged. In the garden area, a large corner of a stone table was loose â€“ posing an acute risk of injury. Surprising additional area Particularly irritating was that the house was not fully available as suggested on the website. In the back area of the house, accessible through a separate entrance, there was a small living area that appeared to be used by another person. The walls were so thin that you could clearly hear that person's television in the living room â€“ a circumstance that was not mentioned in the property description. Conclusion Overall, we can unfortunately only advise against staying in this holiday home. The property may have once been a beautiful vacation residence, but it is now in a condition that urgently requires comprehensive renovation. The discrepancy between the online representation and the reality on-site was significant. It is worth mentioning the central location of the property. Within an hour's drive, many interesting places can be reached.

Very poor, many defects that previous tenants had also reported earlier. The owner hid behind the fact that a number were scheduled for repair. However, reading back the reviews, it became clear that the same arguments were used each time. For example, the broken toilet seat, the top and bottom too dirty to look at; a new one was ordered, while you know that every hardware store has these in stock. Very unhygienic, as were the ceiling exhaust grilles, rarely or never cleaned, as well as the ventilation ducts themselves. The gas fireplace and the blinds in the bedrooms were not allowed to be used, citing high energy costs and being broken. The defects are too many to mention, with 35 photos taken of them. The overdue garden maintenance left much to be desired. Artificial Christmas trees were still in the garden. The outdoor lighting did not work at all. No mirror in the sweltering bathroom and boiler room. Windows opened very reluctantly. It was very annoying that the property was sublet, with various doors locked, which was not mentioned anywhere in the rental information. Unfortunately, this was the common thread of the weekend, as it kept coming back to newly discovered defects, a lot of frustration. The nice property itself and the excellent location do not deserve this.
