Other nearby mountains are Kneipen and Storefjell, 950 m.a.s.l., which can be strongly recommended as nice mountain walks. Furthermore, there are opportunities for shorter mountain trips for those who just want a short trip to enjoy nature and the silence. Stordalselva, a large salmon and trout river, is 50 km away. At Fannedalsvannet and Synnalandsvannet, 15 km away, there are nice recreational areas. Here you can get trout up to about 0.5 kg.
