You also have access to parts of the garden with a sandbox and swing, perfect for the children. The surroundings offer fantastic walking paths and proximity to several favourite spots. In the old days, when you went to church, school or the shop, you walked on a path that was exactly where the plot is now. To this day, the tradition lives on, and occasionally hikers pass by following these historic trails. Put on your backpack and go on a wonderful trip! Swimming area with rocks and bathing ladder is only 1 km away. For a dinner at a restaurant, Brygghuset in Fiskebäckskil (14 km) or Fröken Trulls in Morlanda (7 km) are recommended. For day trips, Havets Hus in Lysekil and Nordens Ark are popular destinations. You can find a grocery store in Ellös, about 9 km away, and don't miss stopping at the Fish Market at Ellös Kaj for the day's fresh catch. The apartment is located on a plot where the owner lives and where a dog and cat also roam freely in the garden. Pets are welcome in the accommodation, but not in furniture or beds. It is easy to get to the accommodation by ferry. The ferry runs frequently, is free and is available from both sides of the island. Here you will live well together. The location is perfect for at least a one or two week holiday. This is suitable for families with children who want to be close to sun, swimming and all the beauty that the West Coast has to offer. The plot is slightly hilly and the house is on a slope. There are also 3 stairs in the house. The lower level of the house is private, but you can use the washing machine that is there. There is also an annex on the plot which is also private. With just a 5-minute walk you reach Lanesund's bathing area, where you can enjoy swimming from both the beach and the jetty. It is important to be aware that there is a busy road between the house and the swimming area, so if you have children you should be careful when crossing it. From this fine accommodation, you can easily make day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil or why not visit the Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg, which is only about 60 minutes away. The cabin has an open floor plan where the living room and kitchen merge, with generous light letting in that creates a spacious and airy feeling. From the living room's large window, you can enjoy the view of the valley. The cabin is located on top of the home owner's garage, which is on the ground floor. The plot is shared with the owner. Here you are surrounded by peaceful nature and can enjoy a fantastic view. The house is an older, partially renovated home with preserved charm. The house has a total area of about 300 m², and as guests you have it to yourself, although about half of the rooms are closed for use. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all the amenities you may need to prepare both large and small meals. In addition to seating in the kitchen, there is a larger dining room table that accommodates the whole party for dinners. There are four bedrooms, two with double beds and two with a single bed each. Downstairs there is a room with shower and sink and a separate toilet. Upstairs there is a bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet. There is also a sauna here! A wood-fired hot tub next to the water creates an unbeatable feeling and high coziness factor! Please note that the hot tub is booked by contacting the owner on site, who will arrange the practicalities of the hot tub and you will pay for this to the owner. Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous birding areas. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café here. Another nice excursion destination is the Åkulla beech forests, and here in winter there is an area for cross-country skiing. For those who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage Grimeton. Also visit the large shopping area GEKÅS in Ullared.
