In the small community of Skeen, only a stone's throw from a cozy swimming area, is the small cabin. Here you have your own lovely oasis in the lush garden, with the small lake only a little over 40 meters away. From the garden, it is only the embankment that separates you from the swimming area, so about 10 meters from the plot boundary, you are at the swimming area, close but separate! If you want to go on an adventure, you are close to places like Ljungby, approx. 18 km, where there are bathhouses with indoor swimming and outdoor swimming in the summer, shops, restaurants and cafes. A little over 50km if you travel west, you will instead come to Halmstad, with beaches, restaurants and shopping. The cabin consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. In the middle of the house is the kitchen, which is adjacent to the living room, which also contains the dining area. Outside the living room you have the lovely balcony with a dining area where you can eat and hang out. There is plenty of space in the garden for those who want to spend time there, otherwise, as I said, the swimming area is just over the dike and there are swings, a sandbox, a barbecue area and a bathing jetty. For those who want to go out to eat, there is a restaurant about 900 meters away.

In wonderfully rural surroundings you will find this cozy cottage. Experience Småland as it should be in this spacious yet wonderfully charming little red cottage. With a lush garden made for children to explore! You are close to a lot with only 25-30 km to places like Ljungby and Markaryd, but at the same time you get the peace of a cottage in the country. About 1200m away you will find Mäen's bathing area, a really cozy bathing area with barbecue area, bathing jetty, changing room and toilets. If you travel with your bikes, it's a really cozy ride through the countryside down to the bathing area, which the owners recommend for a bike ride. Please note that it is not allowed to charge electric cars on the plot. The house has water from its own well. Therefore, be extra frugal with water consumption. The house has a large spacious kitchen and a large living room. There are a total of three bedrooms in the cottage with 2 single beds in each. If desired, there are also 2 extra beds (folding beds that can be used.) Two of the bedrooms are on the upper floor, which has a slightly lower ceiling height and slanted ceiling. This house is perfect for the big family, or maybe the family bringing mother or grandparents or maybe two families traveling together. It would also be perfect for the group that travels and wants to fish in Småland's lovely lakes. If you buy a fishing license in the nearby lake, you can fish in a number of other lakes in the nearby area as well. You can easily buy a fishing license online. There is also the possibility to rent a boat in the same lake, both per day and week, more information and contact information can be found in the guest folder upon arrival. The boat is available between about May 5th and September 30th, if you want to rent the boat after this date please contact us at the service office. There is also a walking trail in the area, so don't miss out on a walk and discover. The path leads to a cozy barbecue area, among other things. Traveling here in the summer and experiencing nature and the lake is lovely. The cabin is also an excellent starting point for those who might want to pick berries and mushrooms, or as previously mentioned want to fish, but also for those who travel to the area for hunting. Here you get a cozy starting point for your holiday with plenty of space for lovely days in the garden, several places for meals outside, a lovely glass-enclosed veranda that can be accessed from the outside for the slightly cooler evenings.
