On the beautiful island of Vätö, just outside Norrtälje, we find this lovely summer resort. The property consists of two houses, a larger house with kitchen, bathroom with washing machine, a living room with sofa bed, stove and dining table. There are two separate bedrooms here; one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. Leaving the living room, you come out onto a terrace with a roof, and a larger terrace without a roof with a beautiful view of the mountains and forest. There is both a charcoal grill and a gas grill here. In the newly built, beautifully furnished guest cabin, there is a living room with a stove, a small fridge and kettle. There are two bedrooms, one with a bunk bed and one with a 120 cm bed. That room has its own exit to the terrace outside. There is a bathroom with an electric toilet, but no shower. On Vätö there are nice walking areas and various bathing spots. The closest to the house is a nice lake that is popular and a bit warmer. If you want to swim in the sea, it's 1.5 km to the beach and jetty. There is a lot to see on the island, which has typical rosewood nature. Roslag granite was mined here in the past; The Royal Opera House and the Riksdag House in Stockholm were built with the red granite and the old quarries are here and there and can be visited on foot. The main town is called Harg and has a grocery store. Vätö was already built at the end of the Iron Age and there are traces to be seen on the island. There is a bus to the nice summer town of Norrtälje, well worth a visit, with cozy alleys, restaurants and shops.

This cottage also has a bathroom with an incinerating toilet, sink, and washing machine. A shower is available adjacent to the sauna in the annex/sauna house. In a separate annex, also called a sauna house, there's a lovely sauna and a fully tiled shower room. There's also a comfortable bedroom with a sofa bed for two. Perfect for those who want to stay secluded from the others and have proximity to the sauna and especially the wood-fired hot tub outside. Imagine the luxury of being able to sauna and take a hot bath in this tranquil environment with the birds singing in the background! The accommodation is set on a hilly natural plot with a flat lawn below the house that invites play. Roslagen offers something for everyone! On beautiful island Vätö, just outside Norrtälje, you will find this wonderful place, a large house with fantastic space and high ceilings, tastefully decorated and lovely plot with direct exit to the forest. Bathing areas are located everywhere on the island, including a lake with jetty. The living room and kitchen have an open floor plan with kitchen island, plenty of seating areas, cozy corner, dining area and sofa, a glazed patio with direct exit from the living room, here everyone can socialize and still have their own space if you want. Beautiful floors that come from an old church, cover the entire living room. There's a wood-burning stove for chilly evenings. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with comfortable double beds in two of the rooms and a bunk bed in the smaller. There are two bathing facilities, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a walk-in shower by the laundry room, and a guest toilet by one of the double rooms. A spacious laundry room with washing machine and dryer is also available. Please not that it's not permitted to charge your electric car on the plot. The plot is a little higher and has no direct neighbors, so it is free from transparency. A meadow is located in front of the house, where you can spot both moose and deer until the evening. Just a short walk to Vätö sund there are swimming opportunities, perfect for a morning or evening swim. A few km from the house there is a center with shops for the essentials, but it is not far to Norrtälje for larger shopping. The bus goes up on the main road, about 200m to go.
