The far part of the plot slopes steeply down towards the valley. You have a fantastic view of pasture and meadows. There are several excursion destinations in the area. The Högvadsån River, Ätran's largest tributary, flows nearby. It's not just salmon that thrive in the river. There are also trout, pike, perch and several other species. A fishing license is required. If you don't get a bite, you can still have a wonderful nature experience by the water in the beautiful valleys. A little further away is Sumpafallen. Here you can wander along the rapids, or in the beautiful forest landscape. The nature reserve is a very popular excursion destination. There are plenty of picnic tables, so sit down and enjoy nature. Visit Åkalla beech forests, Öströös sheep farm and Ästad winery. Ätrafors dammen, with a connection to Ätran, has a nice public swimming area with toilets, a jetty, barbecue areas, boules and beach volleyball courts. A short drive away you will find Ullared's gigantic shopping centers. There is also a popular swimming lake with a jetty and diving tower.
