Lovely and rustic home in a former stable, with partial sea views and a peaceful location on the beautiful Rossö peninsula on Orust. The stable building is located on a former farm dating back to the 19th century, adjacent to both a nature reserve and bird watching sites. The home was completely renovated tastefully and personally in 2013, where old beams, wood, bricks, etc. were used. At the entrance you have a balcony with lovely evening sun where you have a view of the area and the Kalvöfjord. On the entrance floor is a hall and a bathroom with a shower cabin where the owner has decorated the ceiling with his old vinyl records. Half a flight of stairs down (low ceiling at the stairs) is the bar kitchen and bedroom in what was the former stable. Here much of the stable feel remains with stable stalls and untreated poured concrete floors in fine harmony with the personal interior details. The bar kitchen has a mini oven with two hotplates. Bright bedroom with open stable entrance (no door) and three single beds that function as sofas with pillows during the day. A perfect bedroom/living room for children and young people who want to live a little to themselves. Upstairs is the spacious, bright living room with high ceilings and exposed beams. There is plenty of room for the whole family in both the sofa area and around the dining table. In a cozy alcove screened off with a curtain there is a comfortable double bed. You live very idyllically with grazing cows and sheep in the pastures and walking distance to Rossö's beautiful swimming area with cliffs, jetty, swimming stairs and diving tower. Take the opportunity to hike in the nature reserve on Rossö. Here there are nice walking areas consisting of oak groves and pastures. The adjacent bay is a popular birdwatching spot with good chances of seeing both eagles and wading birds. There is also excellent fishing water for mackerel and trout, among others. Experience the archipelago and fishing villages around Orust. Take the ferry to the picturesque islands of Käringön and Gullholmen. If you are interested in shopping, don't miss a visit to Göksäter with the bargain department store Arvid Eriksson, just a few minutes away by car. Summer on Orust offers many activities - festivals, kayaking, diving, fishing, playing golf or just enjoying the peace and quiet and the beautiful nature. The owner has a garage in part of the stable building that is accessed from the farm side. The residential part has no view from the other buildings on the farm. This holiday home is a property on the fantastic Gudhammars estate which dates back to the 17th century and is located on a promontory with views in every direction; the property lies right outside Hova. This is a perfect holiday home for the larger family/ company with high demands on location and standard. Here you can enjoy the beautiful nature during all the seasons, and during the summer you can bathe and fish in the lake of Skagern, and not least, you can enjoy the holiday home with all its facilities like the whirlpool or the wood burning bath barrel. The holiday home is built the year 1778 and is called “Flygen” and means “the wing”, and has been carefully renovated with all amenities and with tasteful furnishings. Still many of the old details have been preserved, adding to the charm of this holiday home. On the entry level you will find the bright kitchen area with its own exit to the generously sized patio, with sunlight from morning to evening. Here you can admire the wonderful view of the lake over a good meal. If the weather is too cold you can take your meal to the beautiful dining area which is connected to the kitchen, or you can go the ground floor where you will find an inviting living room with a wood burning stove. The living room is equipped with both a TV and a comfortable sofaset. On the same level there is also a bedroom with two single beds and a beautiful fully tiled bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower. Upstairs is an additional living room with a sofa bed and TV, perfect for the children and the youngsters in the company. On the same level there is a bathroom with shower and four bedrooms. Two of them are sturdy bedrooms with wide double beds in each room; one of them even has a wood burning stove. The other two bedrooms are smaller and where one is equipped with one single bed and the other with a 120cm wide double bed. The holiday home is situated on a park like ground, where you dispose a private part of the lawn stretching towards the lake. There you will find a nice little shallow beach and a small bridge where a boat is docked, which you can rent and go on wonderful trips filled with fishing and bathing. Fishing is free of charge in the part of the lake which belongs to the owner. Of course you must take the opportunity to take a dip in the relaxing bath barrel, where you can sit and enjoy the starry nights. The bath barrel is shared with the three other cabins on the property, and costs 1500 SEK/occasion including wood for heating. (see house 40719, 38743 and 38744). It's possible to rent it between May to October, the season depends on the weather. Here you will live beautifully and close to many excursions sites in lovely surroundings, and the delightfully rustic feeling increases with all animals on the estate. You can visit the knight week in Hova (always week 28) which is always fun and exciting where you can experience the tourney and the medieval market. Feel free to take a trip with one of the passenger boat next to “Göta kanal” which is the biggest canal in Sweden and discover all the locks and sights that the journey offers. If you want to shop you will do that advantageously by going to the old charming districts of Mariestad. Welcome to this charming two-storey cottage, situated on a forest plot in between Osby and Vittsjö, in beautiful Skåne. The holiday home has a kitchen with a functioning wood stove as well as an electric stove/oven. The kitchen has the basic amenities, a dining table, and a baby chair. Next to the kitchen, there's a bedroom with a comfortable double bed. In the living room, there's a dining table, a wood-burning stove, a sofa, and a double sofa bed. The living room also features armchairs, a TV, and a DVD-player. A steep set of stairs will take you to the upper floor, where you will find an interesting piece of furniture: an old “beggar's bench”. In the olden days people would place such a bench outside of their homes to signal that homeless beggars, who often travelled around the countryside, were welcome to knock on the door, for a bite to eat and a bed for the night. The upper floor has one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom (without a door) with two single beds. There is also a loft with a single bed. A path leads from the garden to the river Vieån. There are lanterns in the house in case you want to bring them down to the river after dark, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the evening. Fishing possibilities. The walking/ hiking trail Skåneleden passes by the house. The small town of Osby is 20 kilometres away, offering some shops and the Brio toy museum. The child-friendly beach, with shallow water and a bathing dock, is only 3.5 kilometres away. Golfers will enjoy the 18-hole golf course at Vittsjö GK, 4 kilometres away. The cave Tygarpsgrottan is about 30 kilometres away and also worth a visit. You will find a binder in the house, with information about interesting sights and activities in the area. Welcome!

A wonderful holiday home with high standards and an amazing panoramic view over the ocean, located on the island Vindön. Start the day with an early morning swim from the private bridge, later you can sit down on the patio and admire the amazing view. This is a perfect holiday home for families or couples who got high standards, and would like to be able to relax and feel well during all the seasons of the year. The holiday home is build during the 40´s, and where later renovated in 2014 with many of the original details left intact. On the entry you can find a fully tiled bathroom with a beautiful ship door, the laundry room and a bedroom with a double bed. The living room is on the upper floor is equipped with a TV-corner and a inviting wood burning stove and has a exit to the lovely patio which goes around the house and where you will have an amazing view over the Hafstens fjord. There is also a modern kitchen on this level equipped with a gas cooker, followed with two bedrooms where one of them has two folding bunk beds.You can rent a rowing boat, a canoo or/and a motor to the boat. Due to the steep location, the house is not suitable for small children. There is only 40m to the private bridge which belongs to the property (which is sheared with the owner). If you want to go on some lovely bathing or fishing trips there is a boat docked at the bridge which you can rent from the owner. There is some outdoor furniture and a barbeque which you can use to enjoy the incredibly setting. There are several small beaches nearby; to Vindöns camping there is approximately 1 km, where you can bathe from the beach or the nearby cliffs, there is also the opportunity where you can rent a pedalo, there is also a playground and a convenience store where you can buy fresh bread for breakfast among other things. If you want to visit the Hafsten resort with spa, restaurant, sandy beach and waterslide, there is approximately a 7km car ride away or you can take the boat across the straits (about 1km). There is approximately 9 km to the central town of Henan where you can get all kinds of services, there are also many events organize here during the summer period. The closet supermarket lies in Rotviksbro and is about 5 km away. If you want you go shopping there is Torps shopping center just a few minutes car ride away from you holiday home, which has around 80 different kinds of shops. On Orust you can find many kinds of activities, there is kayaking, diving, fishing, golf or you can just enjoy the tranquility and the beautiful nature in the area. You can also visit the small charming fishing communities named Hälleviksstrand and Mollösund. The big city of Gothenburg is 80 km away. Very well maintained, modern and fresh smaller cabin with a fantastic location for excursions near and far. Your cabin consists of a combined living room/kitchen and a bedroom with a bunk bed and a toilet/shower. In addition, there is a large covered terrace next to the living room where you can sit really comfortably and look out over the surroundings. The entire cabin has been renovated and it is completely "tip-top" with modern furniture, bright and fresh. In the living room is the sofa bed intended for 2 people, it is 120 cm wide. A walk or drive down the hill will take you after about 800 metres beautiful lake Bunn where your boat is ready to take you on exciting fishing trips (fishing license) for pike, pike and perch, a fishing that is admittedly good. If you want to swim, you can do it from the jetty or take another couple of hundred meters to a good swimming spot. You live undisturbed with only one neighbor nearby and it's easy here relax and enjoy the time off. Outside the cottage there are large fine grassy areas, perfect for play and games. The area by the lake and the community of Bunn is very popular and in this wonderful environment, time passes too quickly for those of you who enjoy nature, the lake and the forest! If you still want to go on an excursion, you have Gränna about 10 km away and Jönköping 15-20 minutes further by car. If you want to go on slightly longer car trips, it is quite possible to take day trips to attractions such as Kolmården Zoo or Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby and in the other direction all the way to the west coast and Gothenburg. Keep in mind that pets are not allowed in this cabin. The electricity fee is paid on site with Swish or cash! But most of all, you stay safely at home if you choose this fresh little cottage and love peace, quiet and nature together with your family!
