This charming holiday home is set in the heart of Småland, a beautiful county on the east coast of Sweden. The delightful house is an old school house that was renovated in 2013. It features a lovely, roofed terrace that welcomes you into the house. The interior of the house is as lovely as the exterior. Beyond the spacious hall, you will find a large living room with a sofa suite, a TV, and a great dining area. There's a lovely wood-burning stove, excellent should there be a chilly evening or two during your stay. The wood is free of charge. The modern kitchen features a wood cooker as well as an electric cooker. The bathroom features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. There are two beautiful bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds and an extra bed. The entire house has high ceilings and old wood floors. The kitchen opens onto the big, furnished terrace which is surrounded by a lovely lawn with a swing. The house is set by a little country road and surrounded by scenic nature. Lake Tvingen is 1,7 kilometres away and offers a lovely bathing spot. Kristdala is the nearest town, five kilometres away, and offers a shop and a restaurant. The beautiful town of Oskarshamn is 30 kilometres away. Oskarshamn is set right by the sea and is well worth a visit. Please note that it is NOT permitted to charge your electric car on the lot. Småland is rife with lovely lakes and picturesque, interesting towns. The area around the house has plenty of lovely walking paths. Visit the part of Småland that is called “The Kingdom of Crystal” because of it's many glassworks. It's only a 1 hour and 20-minutes drive to Orrefors, known for it's glassware, and another ten minutes to Kosta where you can visit “The Kingdom of Crystal” glassware is made. When you visit Kosta, don't miss the elk park there! The charming town of Vimmerby is also well woth a visit.This area is the setting of many of Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books such as Emil of Lönneberga. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn are also close. Or why not take a day trip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? The town of Kalmar is another great destination for an excursion. It is set by Kalmarsund and you can drive right over the bridge to the charming island of Öland. A wonderful coastal house with beautiful details and sea view in many directions, located in the lovely town of Åskloster, about 14 km north of Varberg. Plenty of space both inside and outside with several terraces from where you can enjoy the surroundings. At a height in the garden there is a small wooden deck, perfect to sit and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee in quiet and peace while overlooking the sea. NOTE: Information about garbage disposal is available in the house. This holiday home is light and airy, with a beautifully decorated conservatory by the kitchen. The spacious dining area offers you to gather and have a good meal together and socialize regardless of the weather. There is a TV that is used as a screen if you for example wish to plug in your computer, but there are no channels. In the living room you have a cozy wood burning stove which gives a pleasant atmosphere during the more chilly and rainy days. The bedrooms are three in a row in a stair with duplex. In total there are four bedrooms, the first one is slightly larger and located on the lower level with own entrance. The kitchen has its own exit to a smaller patio, perfect for a nice summer breakfast. Please note that this is an older house and therefore the floor may be drafty. The elements are not to be used, but there is an air heat pump. The house is mainly suitable for stays during the warmer months, i.e. around April-October, since it is not heated when not in use and it can take around 2 hours to heat up with the air heat pump and the stove. Therefore, you have to think about arriving in good time so that you have time to warm it up before the night. The holiday home is located at the end of a street, so here is no transit traffic, it is a calm and quiet area. Welcome to a lovely holiday home in gorgeous settings on the west coast! Welcome to this cosy holiday home, set close to the sea on Stora Askerön, in the fjord between Tjörn, Orust, and Stenungssund. This is a scenic area which offers terrific walking paths and the chance to see elk and deer. The cottage is set on a park like plot with a natural garden as well as a regular garden. Indoors, you will find a large entrance hall which is adjacent to the spacious, tastefully decorated living room, with a TV, DVD-player and wireless internet. The light and airy kitchen features a nice dining area. There a three bedrooms, one offering a comfortable double bed, the second two single beds, and the third one a double bed 160 cm. In the bathroom you will find a WC, wash basin, shower, and washing machine. The cottage features two delightful outdoor sitting areas, which gives you the option of choosing whether you sit it the sun or in the shade. You will find a lovely bay, with a magnificent view of the islands, only 500 metres from the cottage. This is a lovely place to go swimming or sunbathing. Live luxuriously in a wonderful house with a beach plot on the quiet island of Knekteholmen in Oskarshamn's beautiful archipelago. You have a motorboat to take yourself to and from the island, so some kind of boating experience is a prerequisite. The house has a large balcony with a glass railing and a panoramic view over the sea. Here you have plenty of outdoor furniture, both a large dining area where you can enjoy fine dinners, as well as a lounge area to relax with a good glass of wine after the meal. There are also a couple of deckchairs to enjoy sunny days in. You also have a large, glazed conservatory with a dining area for cooler evenings. The kitchen is fresh, spacious and well equipped with a dishwasher. You have a wonderfully beautiful dining area with high ceilings, a wood-burning stove and a view of the sea (firewood included). In the living room there is a sofa, wood stove and the unbeatable sea view. TV screen without channel selection is equipped with chromecast. The house has Wifi. There are 3 bedrooms, one downstairs equipped with a double bed (160cm) of fine quality. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a lower ceiling height directly under the eaves with a 160cm double bed. From the balcony with its own entrance, there is the third bedroom with two family bunk beds. The house has a toilet with a shower and a washing machine. Knekteholmen is an island with a quiet atmosphere where there are only 2 houses, please note that the neighboring house is about 10m from the house, but it is placed to the side so you still have a completely private back facing the sea. Here you can swim from the rocks or from the jetty with a bathing ladder. Note that the water is deep, so keep an eye on smaller children. Upon check-in, the owner of the house will meet you on site to show you to the house, which is about 4 minutes by boat from Sörvik, Oskarshamn. When booking, contact the owner no later than the day before check-in for further information. Oskarshamn with its grocery store, large shopping and restaurant selection is approx. 7km by car from the marina. Shop with you what you need before check-in as there are no shops near the island. You probably have no need to leave the island's calm atmosphere, but if that were the case, a day trip to Byxelkrok with the ferry that departs from Oskarshamn is recommended.

Welcome to a red croft in the country. Behind the house you can hear a waterfall that roars in time with the wind and the forest is right next door. The house is simple but charming and invites you to peace and tranquility in the Swedish nature. The road down leads you straight to the house, where you can park right next to it. The house is red with white knots and an older solid wooden door in blue. At the front there is seating under the tree and a slightly hilly lot, perfect for playing and lazy days. You are welcomed in via the back of the house. Then you come straight into the kitchen area. The kitchen is country style and the kitchen unit is IKEA. In the kitchen there is a fridge with freezer compartment, wood stove, mini oven with two hotplates and a small table with seating for 2 people. There is no hot water in the tap, but it is boiled in the large vessel on the wood stove or via the hob. To the left is the bedroom, which was renovated in the summer of 2022. Here are two single beds 90 cm wide that can be moved together. The wallpaper is light, green and a homely room. In the bedroom there is a chest of drawers with a sink. To the right of the kitchen area is the living room. Here there is a small dining area for 2 people, a fireplace and an older sofa that can be converted into a bed. It will be 120 cm wide. On warm days, you can open the blue door out to the front garden. By the window there is a planting table/storage area which is perfect to have when you have a good dinner or a typical Swedish coffee outside. At the back of the house is the outdoor shower next to the pump house. Toilet is a separate room located in the building in front of the house. There is also a small chest of drawers with a tub for washing. Water is collected inside the house. If you go down the hill, you will soon come to a beautiful small waterfall. Follow the path and you will come above the waterfall where there is an opportunity to swim. Otherwise, the nearest bathing place is about 10 minutes by car from your house. Even though we don't have wifi, it works fine to work from the cabin via 4G. You will have a good time here. Welcome!
